Before writing review, i just confused by their name. I booked and lodged in 'Malabar inn' on March 2018. Room was spacious with all basis facilities. Except hot water service on bathroom ( this not mandatory summer season ). Not too far from town, walkable distance. Loacation is good. Break fast tasty and good, Their own restaurant under maintenance, so no idea about their quality.

Hi||||The Hotel was good and the rooms found same as shown in OYO image. Let me listing the few points.||First of all, the Hotel name is Malabar Inn as shown in OYO site, also the same name found.||||1- Housekeeping- Good||2- Breakfast - Complimentary, You will only get south Indian Food, Puri Sabzi, Omelette, Toast, Juice, Fruits etc. Cannot get north Indian Paranthas.||3-Dinner- Not So Good-They are having very few options for Lunch or Dinner, even you may not get any Paneer Item. If you want to get food from outside then the options available are a little bit far from this place. Also, most of the food are prepared with coconut oil which few may not like.||4-Staff - Behaviour is very Good||5- Location also good.||6-WIFI - It was there but not reliable||||Anyway overall experience is Good except for food.

At first sight, the hotel seems nice and well equipped. But as you look closer, its another desaster hotel in india: the room stinks of smoke, there were tons of mosquitos who wouldnt let us sleep the whole night, in every corner of the room were cockroaches, the bed sheets were moldy and dirty and the wifi does not work outside the lobby. For us it was very disappointing, as we thought this might be a good choice for calicut. we felt uncomfortable and except you are on a tight budget, wouldnt recommend this hotel.

I booked 3 rooms for me, my family and cousins. Excellent and comfortable stay in calicut city. ||||Good parking, tasty and good food at affordable rates, good complimentary breakfast, rooms with good ambiance ,service. Love to stay here again :)||||||||@malabarinn management, think of installing auto door closers in every room doors. Thank you

Was a last minute booking, rooms inside was good from inside, but outside you can see stains of water. toilet flush was leaking. Wi fi is available, but you get disconnected sometimes. Breakfast was comparatively fine.Staff were vry good. Filled a feedback form which was there in the room but there was no box to put it in,|| Altogether a fine place to stay but need maintenance

Location wise, the hotel is located in a prominent place. The hotel offers good parking space for cars. The rooms were not very big, it was average.The restaurant is well decorated. Variety food options were available. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options.

Generous staff, but rooms are untidy and bed covers, towels are not clean. Bathroom was just ok. Free Breakfast provided which is average. Only recommended if looking for a budget hotel, else not recommended.

stayed here three nights .... found it on the net and took a chance... wanted a budget hotel..the non ac rooms were reasonably priced, but one or two had a musty smell.. got one which was ok.. could be better maintained,, but no complaints regarding cleanliness and I was impressed with the prompt response of the staff... ||my key did not work three times and the sheets needed changing... whenever I asked for anything it was attended to immediately||||it lacks some amenities and the food is not so good, .. the only reason I rate it very good is :value for money, cleanliness and a polite and very prompt staff... and it has a fairly central location, yet not noisy
