Overall good hotel and good location Next to Periyar tiger reserve Good restaurant nearby try spice chimney and next to Kathakali Ample parking space Only challenge is no lifts in this hotel .. you need to walk all the way up on stairs

Overall the hotel view is good by outside . You will get a casual service here. Decent location. Staff is nice they are able to speak marathi , hindi , english and local language so there won't be any problem regarding language if you stay here. Furniture :- Old style furniture systeam its upto you if you like it or not. Space :- good for 2 persons if you want a extra bed you gotta adjust a bit in room . Rates :- All the food rates are just alright but you gotta pay extra money for room service. Thank you !

Hotel is heart of town, Market area is just 5 mins away by walk. Tickets and information center for boating is also very near. Food quality staff is really good and helpful. Apart from these good points, property is quite old and rooms are odd in shape even dining are is also odd in shape. Due to old property and furniture, there odd smell everywhere in rooms. Lighting is not adequate in rooms. Feels gloomy in room due to shape, light and old room. Double bed is created by connecting 2 single beds makes uncomfortable to sleep. I feel hotel is quite expensive compare to the rooms and services.

The room was of adequate size but did not have air conditioning although this was not an issue when we stayed. |The lunch was good but we did not have any other meals there. |The bed was comfortable enough. The bathroom was a wet room which is not ideal. |The staff were helpful. |Wifi was weak and non existent for periods of time. |Location was close to the centre of the town.

The stay was a good one, nice big room the location is also at a prime area easily accessible. The care taker was very helpful and waited till we reached the location at night. The view and ambience of the location is also very good. I Would like to thank him once more for his service.

We were a group of 16 people. Our trip plan was very short notice and we enquired many 4 star resorts and hotels and resorts to get rooms. But all those were full. Luckily Michael's Inn had rooms. I was a little concerned about the accomodation still. But all my concern were because of my under estimation about this property. But i was proved wrong when we reached the hotel. The hotel and rooms were simple, clean and good. All the family members told the stay was great. A big thanks to Chayichan , the manager of the property. Dinner was Ala carte. It was average. Breakfast , though the items are less, all were great. It's perfect for people planning to have a travel in that day after breakfast. It is perfect for those who just need to take rest or a good night's sleep during a tour. Overall it was a very good experience. Also, it is just walkable distance from periyar tiger reserve. Thanks to the team...

Excellent setup for budget travelers. The location is at a walking distance (~15-20mins walk) from the entry point at Tiger Reserve. The place is clean, well kept and cosy. The staff is very courteous as well- they called us before we reached the place to make sure that we didn't lose our way. They also suggested to park our vehicle in their compound since we were on a 2 day tiger trail trek. The only con is that we didn't find a lift here so might be bit difficult for elderly travelers.
