Hotel Highrange Plaza

11-10-2024 we have stay 3 days in this hotel I had a worst experience becoz room not clear and bad smell coming while entering the room…. Bathrooms not clear and bed not maintaining….. we are stay 3 days but they provider only 2 water bottles in 7 persons /car parking also they not provide and when ever we are asking any questions regarding local place simply hotel person say no we don’t have idea zero knowledge in local…. Only one small restaurant that also not good…..totally worst experience in stay pls plan accordingly for the better way……😞😞

Rooms big but not good having good blanket Washroom big but no geyser facility. Jet spray not working No scenic view Room claustrophobic as for safety u hv to keep windows closed. Washroom full of black ants.

Highrange Plaza: A Convenient Stay in Thekkady I recently had the opportunity to stay at Highrange Plaza during my visit to Thekkady. Here’s my honest review: Location: The hotel’s location is a definite plus. Situated right in the heart of the market area, it allows guests to explore the local market easily. Whether you’re looking for souvenirs, spices, or just want to soak in the vibrant atmosphere, you’ll find it all within walking distance. Room: I stayed at Highrange Plaza for just one day, but I found the room to be comfortable and well-maintained. The interiors were clean, and the bed was cozy. However, if you’re expecting scenic views from your room, you might be disappointed. Construction work nearby obstructs any potential vistas. Take you own mosquito repellent or ask from hotel as there are lots of mosquitos which can disturb your sleep. Proximity to Periyar Tiger Reserve: Nature enthusiasts will appreciate that the Periyar Tiger Reserve is a mere 700 meters away from the hotel. If you’re planning to explore the reserve, Highrange Plaza’s location makes it a convenient choice. Washrooms: The washrooms were a pleasant surprise. They were clean, well-lit, and properly maintained. No complaints here! Hotel Service: Now, here’s where Highrange Plaza falls short. The hotel service left much to be desired. Unfortunately, they don’t provide drinking water as part of their amenities. Guests are required to purchase water separately. This inconvenience can be quite frustrating, especially after a long day of exploring.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Green Haven," a delightful vegetarian restaurant located in the heart of the city. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the cozy and welcoming ambiance. The earthy decor and soft lighting created a tranquil atmosphere that was perfect for a relaxing meal. The menu at Green Haven is a vegetarian's dream come true. It offers a diverse range of dishes that not only cater to vegetarians but also impress even the most committed carnivores. I opted for the Mediterranean Platter, which included a mouthwatering selection of falafel, hummus, and tabbouleh. Each dish was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. What truly sets Green Haven apart is their commitment to using locally sourced, organic produce. It's evident in the quality of their dishes, which are not only delicious but also environmentally conscious. The service was exceptional, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were happy to make recommendations. Overall, my experience at Green Haven was exceptional. It's a haven for vegetarian cuisine enthusiasts, and I'll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu. If you appreciate delicious vegetarian food served in a warm and inviting environment, Green Haven is a must-visit.

There's another joint of this property just few yards away from this high range plaza and the name is High range residency. A beautiful property at the centre of the town giving easy accessibility to almost the places. Mr.Mani is the manager over here and is a friendly gentleman who gives us tips on when and where to visit. Lot of hotels nearby and there's a pure North Indian veg restaurant attached to this hotel as well. However we didn't try anything in this restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family stay. Rooms were clean and car parking facility is also good in High range residency.
