It was a wonderful experience to stay at Green view homestay! The owner was so helpful and kind and the view from your balcony is lush, calming and relaxing. Rooms were clean and bathrooms too. You get more than you except for the affordable price!

Best shower (endless hot water / rain head shower) I’ve had in Kerala along with a generous balcony overlooking a gorgeous garden and yummy breakfasts plus a yoga/lounge space complete with hammocks — we had a superb stay. Best of all was the genuinely helpful and well-connected owner who helped set us up with a great local tour and further accommodation in Munnar. We hated to leave.

You will get spacious balcony for sure and place is good. We enjoyed the balcony and street view. Owner is great and supportive. He supported us with boiling milk for the kid. Rooms were clean and the street is great for night walk. We really enjoyed the stay. Car parking is decent enough

Great location with everything within 2-5 minutes walking. Rooms were clean, with hot shower and a big balcony looking out over the garden. The owner is super enthusiastic, helpful & genuine, providing us with useful information to make our stay in Periyar the best possible. Also helped us with our next steps in the journey through India. Would definitely come back to this place again when visiting the area!

Great hotel that has a bed and breakfast effect. The rooms are great with comfortable beds and a nice private terrace. There are also large shared terraces which are nice when you travel in a large group and want to meet up (I traveled with 11 french friends and we spent 3 beautiful nights). Breakfast is included and the managers are very attentive. Also the hotel is well located. I recommend ! Thank you very much !

Oh my word. Stay here. You will never want to leave. I stayed for 2 and a half weeks and still did not want to move on. Take a garden view room (we named ours The David Attenborough Suite) and watch the black monkeys, the macaques (beware) the giant squirrels ad well as the very many tropical birds. |Our rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water.|Suresh, the owner and Sonia, his colleague helped us with booking trips, arranging transport and suggestions for activities. Suresh is a fabulous and committed host. We felt like family.|Green View is in one of the best locations in Kumily. The road is quiet and the garden large. The property adjoins the spice gardens ('the most expensive hotel in Kerala'). The tiger reserve bus stops and the reserve itself are within easy walking distance (we saw a tiger). The town is closer and there are two very good local restuarants footsteps away. Breakfast at Green View is taken in the garden at a time to suit you. You will be offered the same breakfast as is eaten by the family, unless you want something more Western. I can recommend it all.|I will return and I will stay for longer next time - I hope to see you there.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the location and friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. Location is nice and peaceful at night with a lovely garden and forest behind. Monkeys and many birds in the trees. Suresh’s(sp)? Recommendations to see the sights in the park as well as for restaurants were much appreciated. Simple accommodations for a good price and lovely host was much appreciated!

I had a very pleasant stay at Green View, rooms are spacious, great view into the garden, peace. Great location. The owner is very attentive, ready to help with everything. Would stay again if in a area.
