NillI had one of the worst experiences at this hotel/resort and I strongly advise against staying here. First of all, the location is extremely inconvenient — the property is around 12 km away from Munnar city, deep inside a forest. The road connectivity is terrible, it’s a single broken road and driving after sunset feels genuinely scary and dangerous. While the view from the hotel is indeed beautiful — lush greenery, birds chirping — everything else about the stay was a nightmare. I booked a Jacuzzi room at more than ₹11,000 per night, but it was far from worth it. The rooms are large, but the bedsheets, pillows, and quilts are of very poor quality; I even developed rashes sleeping on them. The bathroom is also in bad shape and the Jacuzzi (for which I paid extra) didn’t work properly. Hot water supply was inconsistent and frustrating. Room service was equally disappointing. They simply wipe and reuse used glasses, don’t refill water unless repeatedly asked, and overall show little care for cleanliness or guest comfort. The restaurant experience was another disaster — food is overpriced, service is painfully slow, and they often forget orders so you have to keep calling them. Breakfast wasn’t managed properly either; once a dish was finished it took ages for them to refill. This hotel claims to be 5-star, but it’s nowhere close. I would rate it only 1 star, and that too only for the scenic view. Please don’t waste your hard-earned money on this property — there are much better options in and around Munnar.

NillIt was horrible experience. Not at all worth for the price. You will get best resorts within this price range. Rooms deluxe suite but there was no proper basic arrangements like cleanliness, slippers, hangers, tissues etc… we kept asking for 2-3 hr to get all the things and no one cares about your problem. Room door sensor was broken and no ringing bell was not working. Food was ok ok types. in buffet you will have lot of options written but everything will be empty. Have to wait again to get refill everything.

NillUndoubtebly the best resort in Munnar for a romantic and relaxing vacation. Set away from the main town, Elixir Hills is exceptionally peaceful. Waking up to birdsong, and surrounded by a canopy of trees and morning mist is something I will never forget. The property grounds are massive, set on acres and acres of land. Rooms are clean and luxurious. There are plenty of options depending on your budget and group size. My partner and I took the Presidential Suite, which is great value considering that the floorplan is very large with a separate lounge/living area, we had panoramic windows looking out to an uninterruped forest view, and the bathroom had its own jaccuzzi. We also looked at the private pool villas, and they looked gorgeous too. The staff at the resort are very kind and generous - always putting their guests first. We didn't once eat food outside of the resort, since their Grove Restaurant is amazing and we felt so full after trying all the delicious items in the complimentary breakfast buffet - various South and pan-Indian breakfast options, amazing pastries, pancakes, a chef's egg station - they had everything. I also really recommend trying the authentic woodfired pizza from the Elixir Woods restaurant - the crust was so fluffy and the base was nice and thin too!! Yum. A warm thank for an amazing stay, and I cannot wait to return when I next visit India <3

NillI stayed at Elixir Hills, Munnar for 1 day in September 2025. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the location is still stunning — surrounded by greenery and a beautiful cascade. However, the property’s maintenance has gone down. The room showed signs of dust, seepage, and lack of proper upkeep. The food quality was also below expectations. It’s disappointing to see such a beautiful place lose some of its charm, but with better maintenance and attention to detail, this property has the potential to regain its earlier glory. Overall, there are better options in Munnar offering better value and closer access to restaurants and tourist attractions.

NillWe had a wonderful stay at Elixir. The property is truly unique with beautiful waterfalls right inside the premises, which makes the experience both relaxing and refreshing. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and hygienic, which added to the overall pleasant experience. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to enjoy nature with great service. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

NillTook the Pool Villa for accommodation and had a lovely time. The experience was unlimited and fun filled. We were a large family of senior citizens and kids and couldn't have spent a luxurious two days elsewhere with better facilities. The food was top notch. The chef personally came to speak to us about our preferences. The employees were hospitable. A special mention to the manager for accommodating all of our various requests. The warm welcome we received set a beautiful tone to our holiday and we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

NillI stayed at Elixir Hills Munnar for 3 days recently , Sep 2025 after visiting the property 2 years ago. Back then, it was clean, fresh, and truly impressive, which is why I recommended it to many people. This time, however, I felt let down. While the staff remain very courteous and helpful and the location is still stunning with greenery and a cascade, the property maintenance has gone down. The first room given to me had broken windows, and even the second room showed signs of dust, seepage, and lack of proper upkeep. The food quality was also below expectations. It’s disappointing to see such a beautiful place lose its charm, but with better maintenance, this property has the potential to shine again.

NillThe rooms were great and wonderful experience. The best is private waterfalls which is at the backside. When you are here try to spend a day here itself without planning any day out. You have lots of indoor games as well. Will be my favorite spot always. Kudos to the entire hospitality team.
