The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring a variety of local dishes, but unfortunately, many of them were unavailable, which was quite disappointing. It raises the question of why they are listed in the first place. Another downside is the in-room entertainment—only free TV channels are available, which limits the viewing options for guests expecting a better selection. The rooms, while clean, feel a bit congested, and the washroom door not locking properly was an inconvenience. On the positive side, the service is decent, and with a little more attention to detail and improvement in facilities, this place has the potential to grow and attract more guests in the market.

Absolutely delightful hotel! A very warm welcome, and all the staff were so kind, patient, and friendly. Room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Bathroom had a great shower and lots of hot water. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. Will definitely return!

I was there for 4 days-3 nights, in a single room. The room was cozy and neat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well, except for those in the so called 'restaurant. The waiter was downright arrogant with a 'i'm greater than you' attitude. And while i only had the breakfast, the food left much to be desired. Was that the reason the waiter was rude. I don't know. That apart, the location is absolutely amazing. Right next to the train and bus station. Great food options nearby and ample autos available. All in all. A great place to stay.

This is not an actual 4 star hotel. They have quoted wrong dimensions and services in online platforms. Lack of hospitality and hotel entrance is quite narrow for a four wheeler. They don't miss a chance to outsmart. Room interior and cleanliness was good.

Good - location is approachable and you can get cab , auto easily outside of hotel which is really good . Breakfast was quite ok for both veg and non veg . Their manager staff was polite and helpful . Need to improve - cleanliness as a broader way it wll look clean but Bedsheet was not clean at all and u wll notice the dust on windows and side tables.although they changed the room but i was quite unhappy with room. Toiletries were provided upon asking as they did not kept in bathroom already . I am not sure why but that is basic amenities which is given to most of good star hotels . There was lot of disturbance from upper floor entire day by cleaning department as they were dragging bed , chair and tables and you wll hear lot of noise of vaccume cleaner which was annoying .

I happened to stay at Goodland Elegance by chance / luck since the property I had booked before abruptly cancelled my reservation without any notification.!! 😡 I am more than glad that I ended up staying at Goodland Residency instead.!! The location could not be more convenient. Literally a two min walk from the Train station and a short walk / Uber ride to most attractions. Blessen (hope I spelt that correctly 😅) at the front desk & the entire team including housekeeping and restaurant staff at this property were very polite, welcoming, helpful and considerate..!! The Air conditioning was perfect for hot & humid weather of Trivandrum and so was water pressure & temperature options in the shower. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was not only fulfilling but a different menu each of the two days I stayed. That doesn’t happen often.!! 🙂👍🏻 The room I chose was decent size for a solo traveller and very much like in the photos 👍🏻 Although the hotel is at a busy intersection, it is tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the main street in a small alley which makes it fairly quiet even during the busy rush hours. The wifi kept disconnecting after some time of inactivity but the front desk was very prompt in providing reconnection codes even at odd hours.!! 👍🏻 I definitely recommend this property to business, solo & family travellers alike .! Booked a room recently for a day. Affordable rates, courteous staff, clean rooms, and premises. Parking can get tricky due to the narrow approach road and limited parking. However, security is available full time and assists. Recommended budget stay.

Whenever I go to trivandrum, my first preference is Goodland elegance. I regularly use to stay at this hotel for more than a year. The staff are very supportive. The rooms are very tidy and It is worth staying here with the tariff.
