The overall experience was good. Had a very understanding staff who let a big family check in late without any reservation at night. They had a diy kitchen. And the view was good. The location was also good near the north point cliff/beach around 5-10 mins. But the location in Google map is incorrect cos when we travelled back from the beach it shows different places in maps.

I had a wonderful stay at Indian Art Villa in Varkala. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The decor had a nice, traditional touch that matched the local vibe, adding to the overall charm of the place. The location is one of the standout features. It’s just a short walk to both the beautiful Varkala Beach and the vibrant North Cliff area, where you'll find plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops with stunning sea views. It’s the perfect spot if you want to be close to the action but still enjoy a peaceful, quiet retreat. The staff were friendly and helpful, always available to assist with any requests or provide local recommendations. I really appreciated the peaceful atmosphere of the villa, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend Indian Art Villa for anyone visiting Varkala – it offers great value, comfort, and a fantastic location for a relaxing getaway.

Rafi (manager) is super kind and helpful. I was female solo traveller and moved around a lot trying to find good place to stay and feel comfortable and this was closest I got. He also introduced me to another traveller so I could make the trip to Goa with her :) He also kindly dropped us off to the train station The place is so clean and such good vibes and in a very calm area without noise - and quick walk to north cliff Amazing - thank you!!

It was a very comfortable and delightful experience. The owner was very friendly and the service was very nice, we were very comfortable and at peace the whole time. For a girls trip we felt very safe and homely while we were staying at the place. The nature surrounding the stay was very much appreciated. Also owners cute dog Cooper blessed us with his presence which was a freebie. Such a beautiful experience altogether.

There is no Hot water facility for bathing even in the rainy season and that is the basic need for customers. Should update these cons. Waiting time was more for room to be available. For the amount they are charging it could be better.

I had a delightful experience at this place during the first week of December 2023. Rafi, the caretaker and owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. We opted for two rooms—one with three beds and another with two, totaling 4800 without AC. The non-AC rooms proved sufficient since we spent most of our time indoors during the evening, night, and morning. The 3-bed room comfortably accommodated four people. While there isn't dedicated parking, Rafi recommended a nearby hotel's parking, which worked well for us. The highlight of our stay was the beautiful terrace setup adorned with captivating fluorescent paintings. I've attached a video to complement this glowing review. Overall, a memorable stay with excellent hospitality.

Very worst service. I booked room via Agoda when i reached there they denied room with somes issues with Agoda and lost my money also. So i strongly not recommended this Art willa

My husband and I stayed here for about a week and we were very satisfied. The Villa is beautiful and clean, the paintings on the walls, the colours and decorations were all tastefully picked and the atmosphere was pleasant. The area was safe and quiet even during the weekend and the beach was at a walking distance of only five minutes. There was also a nice kitchen for when we wanted to cook ourselves. The staff was friendly and helpful and so were the other guests.
