Capital O Hotel Royal Stay

Let me tell you what happened on that day. On reaching the hotel at around 0800pm. I was simply denied the key to the room. The person at the reception said that the price paid i.e ₹372 was simply too less (less than 50%). He initially asked a deposit of ₹400 , than ₹300, and than ₹200 extra if I needed the room. During this period Oyo call centre was called by me. He spoke to the hotel owner and received the same answer. I requested the call center employee to give me any other hotel for stay. He called hotel spot and 2 other hotels and than regretted saying no room were available.  He than tried calling higher ups but no one was available to pick his calls. Finally Oyo executive gave up and offered me a refund of my amount. Which I had to decline as it was getting late , I was hungry and had spent on taxi to get to the hotel. So I agreed to pay and avail the stay as any further heated argument between me and reception staff could have led to physical altercation. But the night was not over yet! Let me educate you regarding the hygiene standards of the establishment. I was given room no 102. Which had a strange stink which I noticed in 5mins. I investigated and found the source. It was a jug with leftover tea at least 1week old , on inspecting the jug the stink was unbearable and some of it was spilled on the floor. I called the receptionist again he just came took the jug and left. Without cleaning the floor. Finally I used tissue paper to clean it . Only than the receptionist came and sprayed the room with room freshner. It was a harrowing experience to say the least. I went to bed some how , woke up the next morning left the room by 0800am for airport even though my flight was at 0140pm, just to escape CAPITAL O 41086 HOTEL ROYAL STAY , Bhopal . Compare to previous experience with OYO booking. This was not as per OYO expectations. It was not a hotel, it was a lodge type room with AC and TV having Only free DTH channels. Rooms were average where no sound proofing. No basic amenity except water, even facility of tea was not there.

First of all they will demand extra money if you have booked through oyo else they will deny your check in. Room is decent but bathroom is very unhygienic, jet spray is broken, tabs in many basins too is broken, tv isn't working, wifi range is not available in 2nd floor.

One of the worst hotel booked through oyo in Bhopal. There are pigs playing in mud at the entrance. Area is dirty with lots of mosquitoes all around. Never book this hotel even if you have to pay less for this one.

Bathroom was very dirty and behaviour of receptionist was very very bad And he misguided us when it was asked to him how far IISER BHOPAL from here.

Poor staff, misbehave with customer, disallowing early checkin they stick in 12 p.m. checkin even if room is available with them... Outer from city, do not go.. horrible experience.. fraudsters.

Only Name is Royal. Rooms are average and toilets are so so so bad 👎 Not even cleaned, smell too bad.
