I stayed at Radisson Gwalior for five days in March 2025, and while the hotel itself was a letdown—faulty WiFi, glitchy key cards, and a persistent bathroom stench—two staff members made a real difference. Mamta from the front office genuinely cared about my experience, tirelessly trying to address my concerns with patience and empathy. ||Meanwhile, Sneha at the restaurant was an absolute gem. Every morning, she prepared hot water with lime and honey for my sore throat, ensuring it was perfect, and her warmth elevated every meal in the fantastic restaurant. Despite the hotel’s shortcomings, Mamta and Sneha’s exceptional service and dedication stood out, making my stay bearable. They deserve all the praise for their efforts!

I booked Radisson Gwalior expecting a top-notch five-star experience based on its big name and promises. The rooms and the restaurant were fantastic in terms of design and ambiance, but sadly, that’s where the positives ended for me. The WiFi speed was so low —after numerous calls and even raising my voice in frustration, someone finally came to fix it. The room key cards kept resetting if placed near a mobile phone, forcing me to trudge downstairs repeatedly to get them reactivated. I stayed for five days, and from the second day onward, a foul stench began seeping from the bathroom. No one could explain why. They offered a room change, but we’d already unpacked, so they installed an overpowering lemongrass diffuser instead. It stank up the entire room, making sleep impossible. As “compensation,” they offered a free room service dinner. I opted for the restaurant buffet instead and thought I’d cleared this with the staff, but at the end, they only gave me 50% off the bill. Who does that after inviting both of us—who endured this ordeal—for a complimentary meal? The only saving graces were two staff members. Mamta genuinely seemed to care about my experience and tried to help. Sneha at the restaurant was a gem—every morning, she prepared hot water with lime and honey for my sore throat, ensuring we felt looked after. They were the only bright spots in an otherwise dreadful stay. I expected so much more from Radisson despite the impressive rooms and restaurant setting.

My recent stay at the Radisson Gwalior was a blend of pleasant surprises with no disappointments. The hotel strikes an impressive balance between modern luxury and the cultural heritage that Gwalior is known for. Walking through the elegant lobby with its marble floors and tasteful decor, I immediately felt the premium ambiance they've cultivated. The spacious rooms, diverse dining options, and convenient location make it one of the better accommodation choices in Gwalior for both business and leisure travelers.||||LOCATION:The Radisson's location is one of its strongest assets. Situated just off DB City Road in the heart of Gwalior, it provided easy access to most of the city's attractions. I particularly appreciated being only a 15-minute drive from the magnificent Gwalior Fort and about 10 minutes from the railway station. The proximity to shopping centers and local markets was convenient for picking up essentials and souvenirs.||||DINE + DRINK: They have a nice bar in the uber cool FARZI rootop bar and bistro that is perfect for a evening chillout and sampling interesting Indian delicacies. But THE HIGHLIGHT of my stay was the mindblowing BREAKFAST at the restaurant at the lobby level. While I woke up for some standard sumptous breakfast typical in most luxury hotels, this Radisson took it to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL! They had everything from local delicacies and regional favorites to national and international dishes - each of which were super authentic! The POHA and JALEBI stand along with the CHAI cart bring the streets of Gwalior to your hotel! The Parathas and Samosas were divine. The list goes on. One of the best breakfasts I have had in a hotel across India! #SweetSuprises||||ROOM: I stayed in Room 228 which was a suite room, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Very spacious with a nice living room and a swanky Bedroom; VIEW:Random view of the city ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good quality toiletries by RADISSON's own brand||||FACILITIES: Compact Gym, but loaded with a good range of weights, ,workout stations, and Cardio machines. Small but functional rooftop pool. ||||SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to RUCHIKA from the front office for enhancing the stay experience, the Executive Chef SUSANTA for whipping up some mean local delicacies and RAJESH from the restaurant and room service for suggesting very interesting items and pampering me totally!||||HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good!
