OYO Shalimaar Resort

The staff is so humble, honest, and respectful. Also they are very friendly and nice to the customer. The food quality and taste is absolutely amazing. The ambience and maintenance of the resort is brilliant. Customer service and room service is very quick and excellent. If you are planning to visit Matheran I recommend this resort more than any other. I will definitely go again to the resort in coming time. I hope the best for the staff and the resort.

I specially wanted to write this review as please do not get fooled, the costliest hotel still didn’t get that treatment, I don’t want someone to make a mistake that I made to stay there, just because we went late at night, me and my family didn’t had a choice of going out and searching for different hotels, we were fooled that everything is included in the package, but it’s really shameful that we were been charged even for water. The rooms didn’t had a towel, nor the television was working, nor in the morning we didn’t get sufficient breakfast, the staff was kind of friendly.

Tha staff is so humble and respectful. Also they are very friendly and nice to the customer, specially vaibhav. The food taste nd quality is also good. Customer service is quick. If you're planning to visit Matheran I recommend this resort more than any others. I'll definitely go again to the resort in coming time. The attitude of the staff there was too agressive and cheap, very bad experience staff and all mangers of hotel are not good. they are very rude to the cutomers... price are very high and service is very very bad. even they dont provide proper food . They tell they have Swimming pool but it is not in the hotel, they take you to other hotel swimming pool and charge for that plus the pool is too dirty with dead insects and water is also not clean. Overall our picnic was ruined and spoiled our moods especially the staff.

One of worst hotel I have ever stay. The staffs behavior was very rude. The service is worst than a roadside bettle shop. I suggest you guys never ever go this hotel for night stay. You can easily found very good hotel with affordable price near matheran market. These morons are charging like a big 3 star hotels. And they are not even going to change your room bedsheets for 2 days. Also they are provide you only 2 piece of chicken in your meal.I would like to give negative star.

Manager and managing staff is worse. They doesn't know how to talk to their customers. They were scamming us to pay extra amount. Verbal abuses and they used cuss words. Inspite of being calm and understanding to them. Property Owner must know what scam they do at his property.

If you are looking to stay at a quite place away from the back to back hotels and resorts. This is it!! Nice rooms and good personal service!! The food is tasty as to what they prepare. The Menu card is slightly limited but its Ok.

They know the tricks how to cheat you emotionally. Some of the staffs r soo rude with fulll of attitude. They have excuses for everything. On the first they will be soo good to you,And if ever you buy something from outside and have it inside their resort. Suddenly everything changed.What will they do lemme tell you. Very softly they will take their revenge by decreasing the amount of food so much that even ur child wont feel full stomach. And one of them was like came down to rude attitude.we were like shockd what happend to them. Why r thy behaving in such a way. For every 1 who r planning for matheran i would suggest do a research before goin to any place. The hotels ,their prices . U can easily get much better resorts in better price than this 1 near matheran market. And every cooloies have their commission from resort. Dont totally depend on them. Rest u r wise. Save ur money. N stay at better places with better people n prices.
