Hublal Cottage

The building is very close to matheran railway station. The left half of the building is called Hublal cottage and the right is called Roshan cottage. Owners stay in the basement. The ground floor had 4-5 rooms. I didn't venture to the first floor & terrace. The room n bathroom were spacious & clean. There was no towel or soap. On enquiry we got drinking water in a jug. Wifi is available. Geyser was working in the morning as well as night. Check-out is at 10am. There was no facility to keep a backpack, instead the owner asked us to pay 800INR and extend our room checkout timing. AC can be put on on paying 300INR. The room is worth 1500INR. I paid on MMT which turned out to be expensive.

Nice and decent room for a middle class family with a budget prospective, caretaker is also helpful and you can bargain rate from 800/- to uplevel..

Absolutely great place to stay! Rooms were neat and clean. Service was top notch and overall it was great experience staying there. Also you can explore places because property is just near by the matheran station.

Awesome experience, just some steps away from the hotel you will find railway station and you can also enjoy the view of toy train from your room. Very nice hospitality. Must visit there...

Nice place for a day trip! Was promised a sitout room bt was given one with a hige window instead ,but still it was a good place to be for a days visit..was neat and tidy! Had great view of train and close to matheran station and market! Tea by the staff was also very nice..they do not provide lunch or any meals in package but there are hotels nearby and u can call out too.

Everything is outstanding ... Owner is true informer ... Everything is at walking distance ... Like railway station, horse riders, E-rickshaw stand and market etc. very nice place to stay nd very peaceful place seriously ... My name is gaurav ... I have visited on 02-04-2024 ...

Extremely hygienic, polite and helpful staff, rooms are clean and spacious with super clean washrooms. Electricity and water is available 24x7. It’s located near matheran railway station and market area. Pricing is also affordable. Great food is also available at reasonable prices.
