Torn on what to write for this review. Raj the owner is very friendly, helpful and on hand for recommendations and as a solo female traveler made me feel safe and secure within the hotel. The location is also excellent and the price is reasonable for the location based on overall prices in Mumbai. My only down point was the overall quality of the rooms, from reading reviews I was expecting it to be run down but it was below the quality I expected, no toilet roll in the bathroom and there were insects on the pillow at one point, which resulted in a semi sleepless night for me.

Rude and Arrogant staff along with the owner. Dont know how to talk, doesnt even have a common washroom after you check out. No cloak room. Dont stay here! Unclean rooms, blankets. Bad experience.

The hotel is located in the best location for tourists. I stayed there in May and was very happy with the effort the staff had put into what I asked. The room was very clean and Raj, the owner couldn't have been a better host, attentive, trustworthy and always think of the customer first. The place is a bit run down and needs repair but overall, it was a very good experience.

Stayed with Raj again.|The location here is unbeatable. Between Leopolds and Taj hotel. Raj is like an old friend he is helpful and always has time for a chat and will help you any way he can. A cold beer out the front is great. The rooms are downstairs and we got 4 people in comfortably. The fridge in the room with cold drinks comes in handy.

The owner doesn’t even know how to talk to people. He is the most arrogant and ill behaved person you can ever come across. I went with my mom at night and asked if my mom could use the washroom for 2 minutes as it was late. The owner directly said no and even misbehaved with us. Even told us to get out of his property. He started shouting also. This guy doesn’t know how to behave in front of a lady or doesn’t even know how to behave at all.

Being our first day in India, feeling overwhelmed would be an understatement. Raj's inviting and professional nature placed us at ease, offering advice at every turn (Saving us thousands of Rupees by recommending a cab to take us on a tour for a 3rd of the price a tour company offered). Close to Colava, Raj and his team assisted with getting us set up with sim cards and washing (Overpriced we later learnt) but the increased fees we paid for these services were negated by the recommendations made: Olympia cafe over Leopold (Leopold = extremely Overpriced), how best to split our time and where to go for sunset. Room was good by Mumbai standards and price paid. Good location for first time Indian tourists

Moti International was my first hotel in India, and I could not have been more grateful for Raj, the manager, and all his helpful advice and warm conversations. The location of this hotel is ideal (just off the main road in Colaba) with some great eating options around the corner (like Kamat and Olympia). The always smiling Raj gladly offered us suggestions with where to go and what to check out on any given day (even helping us with our travel plans outside of Mumbai) and was overall a complete delight to be around.||||Thank you Raj and Moti staff for your hospitality. I cannot wait to visit again!
