FabExpress Gateway Inn - Hotel in Colaba, Mumbai

Very bad experience with hotel stay. No kitchen, No food service, No cleaning, Bedsheet and blanket with strains, Bad smell rooms, Bedsheet with cigarette burn holes, Stinking room, uncleaned room and Dirty bathroom. I had booking for two days but left the hotel after 6 hours only.

Not so good Room was very small , initially before booking show big room with delux room facilities but during check in , totally opposite to words before booking , worst experience

We booked this hotel via the platform “Booking” for 3 night stay in Mumbai. Before booking the reviews that I could find were good and the location was very central so I decided to take it, but when we arrived we found a building in which in each floor was a different hotel. Our hotel was on the third floor, we carried the luggage the whole way up, since you don’t get any help. Then we found a hotel with 10 rooms and no windows, the room and bathroom were very dirty, we immediately asked if we could cancel and get a refund but it was not possible so we decided to stay. It was a very bad experience, we were unsafe and uncomfortable and outside the hotel in the building there were rats since it’s an old construction. It says that breakfast is included but there’s no restaurant inside. After two night we decided to leave to another hotel, because we were concerned for our health. Unfortunately everything regarding this property was a very poor experience.

Third class, i booked deluxe room and i have reached at night at 2 AM and they’ve cheated and given me normal room while i have booked deluxe and while deluxe was already accommodated to someone else, fraudulent, stay away, if possible i need my complete refund.

The place is insane. Both mornings the room phone rang and there was no one in there. All the voices from other rooms and specially from the hallway can be heard clearly. People were screaming on the hallway in the middle of the night for a long time and nobody from the reception did nothing. The room was small, humid, no window and dirty sheets - somebody had clearly slept in them already. In the bathroom there was no toilet paper, and obviously no shampoo etc. The hotel was difficult to find and there were rats running on the urine-smelling stairway. The only positive things were that there was some hot water in the shower and the AC worked. No breakfast.

Good d atmosphere. Cooperative staff. But small rooms. But for Mumbai it is really good. Complimentary breakfast was not informed earlier while booking the rooms. It is drawback for us. Shaving razor was not provided. Hence we may had to go to nearby shop in the morning. Other wise okay.

The Front office executive Mr.Arshid was the best. He assisted us for a fantastic stay. He is an asset to the hotel.

Awesome place to visit. Worth the money. Location is fine as well. The staff was incredible. Room was spacious and well appointed and clean
