Hotel Antique

Very friendly staff who helped with all our requests. We were given free bottles of water and tea a couple of times. The hotel itself is in a very good location in Colaba. We also slept in a different hotel in this area for similar price and Hotel Antique was much better. There is an ATM around if somebody needs it. It can be noisy at night in the street next to the hotel, but it's not the hotel's fault. Good value for money keeping a certain standard.

I stayed her for 7 nights and loved it. Room size is perfect for one or a couple. I loved the design architecture of the building. Very cool. Marble floors, wooden stair railings. Clean, quiet and close to 1. Sassoon Dock 2. Afghan Church - done 3.  Flora Fountain Book Store - done 4.  Rajabhai Clock Tower 5. Gate of India Taj Mahal Hotel 6. Regal cinema 7. Mumbai Cricket Stadium 8. The Asiatic Library 9. Kala ghoda 10. Cathedral of the holy name 11. Markets 12. Train Station 13. Museum and art galary Plus all the Chai Masala on offer and cafes. The staff are amazing and always offering water, coffee or chai. Thank you for making my first trip to Mumbai an enjoyable one. I will be back.

One of the best places to stay in mumbai, clean bathrooms.Very budget friendly and also close by to Colaba market. Hardly takes 15 mins to gateway of India if you prefer walking also close by to CSMT railway station. Friendly staff . We went there after a very bad previous experience in an other hotel. Only bad thing was hot water was not available in the morning. Friendly staff made our stay very comfortable. Would recommend to family and friends also surely will prefer to stay here for our next visit.

It has been a delightful experience: this is probably the best accommodation in Mumbai for this price range. The staff took care of us and helped us out with all our requests. Nice and clean rooms, comfy beds. Convenient location, in the market area, very safe. We will definitely come back

We travelled from Chennai to Mumbai on a business trip. Stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 yr old kid. Room was very clean. Toilet was too. TV was surprisingly working with all the channels. Hot water, AC, Fridge, Locker. All perfectly working. Great value for money. We loved the entire stay with them. They are understanding and provided good hospitality. Thank you.

In my opinion Hotel Antique does not understand how to provide simple hospitality. I called a few days in advance to book a room for two nights. The call was a success; they had a room available, we agreed on a price, and then I asked if they need my passport number or something because they had only asked for my first name. He got my passport number, was told we arrived by train to Mumbai around 1 pm, so we would arrive later in the afternoon, and then he was about to finish the call when I asked whether he could confirm my booking over text (I suggested WhatsApp), but he said “no mam, call is fine, I am confirming your booking now”. Me and my husband arrived at the hotel around 4 pm just to experience the worst service. No room available “cause we didn’t arrive at the right time of day”. Apparently they thought we came around 11 am, and when he couldn’t reach me at my passport number (wonder why) “we must understand”. Instead they offered us one night at another hotel to the same price as we booked at Antique, but more expensive than if we booked directly by ourselves. And then of course we could make the trouble to come back to hotel Antique for the last night of our stay. We didn’t meet any understanding or hospitality. Instead we decided for another hotel nearby and hope for the best.

Nice spacious rooms for the price. Every working fine, like hot water air con. Very good service, requested breakfast at 5am and was served on the dot.
