The Gordon House Hotel

The hotel has a nice, clean and bright vibe on entering. The aircon is very welcome when you've been out all day. The rooms are a good size with a nice comfy bed and bathroom. The location is great for being close to the Gateway to India and the ferries to the Elephanta Caves.|There is a lovely restaurant in the hotel which serves amazing food at lunch and dinner. It also serves breakfast in the morning.|We had a few problems in our room with the lights and safe not working but the staff worked hard to sort the problems out. I would stay there again if I was in Mumbai.

Wonderful experience, the friendliest staff, fresh and clean, quiet for a good night sleep! I would like to thank Varun from the front desk and all the other staff who made my stay comfortable and offered me the warmest welcome I could get in Mumbai!||The Gateway of India is literally 3 mins away! The restaurants I liked nearby are the Ling Family restaurant and The Table. You can get a sim at George Electric (1 min away). ||Enjoy your stay in Mumbai!

Really enjoyed my stay here - a lot more than I was expecting to! While the hotel and the rooms are small, it’s amply compensated for by the excellent location (just steps from Colaba Causeway and Gateway of India), solid service (very professional and prompt), excellent upkeep (everything was spotless), and great value for money (best in class, in my opinion). Be sure to ask for a room that faces the street, if you’d like a little natural light, though.

This is my second stay at this hotel this year. Besides the location, I always feel comfortable and welcomed at The Gordon House start from the front door. Thank you Mr. Varun and Mr. Vijay and all the hotel staff I got to meet for being such good hosts, make all the check-in check-out process and time I spend at the hotel very smooth.

Exelet hotel at the city center. I give this rate to the hotel based on my stay at room 202 Double Bed. The bed is very comfortable and the room gives you as a guest very good atmosphere and value for money. The wash room is very clean. At the ground floor is a restaurant that serves nice breakfast as well as dinner (I couldn’t find something on the menu that I liked

Lovely hotel i was on the lobby floor didnt hear any noise .. small toilets But VERY clean .. loved the rooms loved it colors .. breakfast os basic but the staff will pretty much provide you what you need for a lovely breakfast .. LOCATION is the best had a baskin robins near the hotel so i would treat myself self everyday.. STAFF are very very friendly and helpful… this hotel will definitely be my go too hotel if am in Mumbai !!!

The rooms are clean and basic . The restaurant area serves good stir fry and is always quite busy . The staff are friendly but the main issue is THE VERY LOUD music until the early hours of the morning . A real shame as the hotel is in a fabulous location , especially for the Gateway of India .

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID the whole building shakes and vibrates with very loud music in the hotel. Could not sleep. Management was not able to help. They didn't even know what time the music would stop. The time now is 1.30am. Find another hotel in Colaba
