Hotel Shiraz Castle

I stayed at Hotel Shiraz Castle during a short trip to Amritsar, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed — clean, calm, and comfortable without trying too hard to impress. The location on Queens Road worked perfectly for me — close enough to the Golden Temple, railway station, and all the main bazaars, but tucked away from the chaos. The room was surprisingly spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi (which I always appreciate). What made the stay even better was the staff — genuinely helpful, not overbearing, and happy to help with small things like early check-in and arranging a cab last minute. I also ended up having dinner at their restaurant one evening when I was too tired to step out — and the food turned out to be quite good, especially the dal makhani. Nothing overly fancy, just simple, homely flavours done right. If you're looking for a no-fuss, value-for-money place to stay in Amritsar that still feels cared for, Hotel Shiraz Castle is a great pick. I'd definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town.

Hotel Shiraz is near the bus stand, railway station and golden temple. If u want to come here to visit Golden temple,it is the best option for u to stay here, around the hotel, fast food market available & it's open overnight.

Hopeless food now, was good earlier. Extremely arrogant male receptionist. Rest staff is old and ok. Most horrible food in the town

Recently had a business trip to Amritsar and stayed at Hotel Siraj castle. Hotel Shiraz Castle is a decent choice for business travelers who prioritize location and budget. While it may not offer luxurious amenities, the spacious rooms and central location make up for it. Despite being located on a busy road, the hotel arranged for roadside parking, making it convenient for guests (You just need to handover vehicle keys) Staff is very cooperative and don’t do much unnecessary formalities 5/5 for staff behaviour. However some rooms are moist and smelly except top tiers and they are perfect. Food is delicious however don’t have much options but you can have it on regular without causing any unease. Overall stay for 2 weeks was satisfactory.

Very nice hotel and good person at the Reception. He was so kind and he let us choose based on the available rooms. He patiently showed 5 rooms and their rates asked to choose . Helpful and kind person who guided us to near by hotels . Thank you. I recommend this hotel for stay and they also have good Banquet halls of 50 and 100 pax.

Good hotel near Amritsar station. There is scope of improvement in complimentary dinner. Breakfast is fine.but dinner is not served in restaurant in buffet manner rather it is served in room which restricts the options of food.

Wrost Experience.. Hotel Staff has no value of their guests. I stayed for business trip. They booked my room before 7 hrs. I call at hotel. But the room I got was too smelly and dirty as I have to check out in mid night. I asked to change the room . But I have told to check out as no other room it there. Washroom are also unhygienic.
