I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Shahi Garh from October 5th until mid February. I had chosen to stay here based on reviews. It was absolutely the best experience. The room was lovely, the attached bathroom clean and very nice. Vimal and his staff are superb!!

If you looking for the best host, Vimal is your guy! I had the best stay in Jaiselmere at Hotel Shahi Garh located in the Jaiselmere fort. Spacious comfortable rooms, with a rooftop cafe and awesome view. Vimal arranged my night under the stars with an authentic desert safari experience,ask him to arrange yours when u in Jaiselmere.

I stayed here for 3 nights and I had a very pleasant stay. The staff was always pendant on any needs I had, the room was very comfortable and clean, the wifi works great and the rooftop restaurant is lovely. I also found very helpful that they have laundry service! I would stay here again 😀

Lovely experience. It's just best hotel in jaiselmer fort. Hospitality was wonderful..you really feel like you are staying in your own house. I will suggest to go here without any second thought in your mind. They have a very amazing terrace with good vibes.|The owner of the hotel is amazing.❤️🌟

Very accommodating and great communication. The rooftop was really nice. They made us breakfast in a hurry before we left for our flight. The vibe felt like staying in a home. They did not pressure us to book any tours which was very nice. Thank you!

1. Room costed me Rs 4200 per night. Much costly than actual value. Considering Christmas holidays, thrill of staying inside fort and not many options available I chose to stay. 2. Mr. Vimal of hotel was very cordial and gave us a warm reception. Even said he will arrange driver's accomodation also. 3. On the day of arrival he confirmed arrangement of desert Jeep safari and camel ride at SAM sand dunes 20 km away from Jaisalmer fort @ Rs. 1500 for two of us. 4. I rated this hotel 1 for : a. After reaching SAM dunes we learnt that a third party (not Mr Vimal's representative) will be arranging our Jeep and Camel ride. We were made to wait for 30 mins and the Jeep ride started just 40 mins before sunset. The driver finished the Jeep safari fastest way possible and dropped us at camel ride starting point and asked Rs 1500 to be paid. The third party agent was no where to be seen and didn't receive our phone call. We took camel ride with separate cost and managed to reach the view point 2-3 mins before sun set. 2. Next day our driver reported that when he approached Mr Vimal for night accommodation he straight way refused and directed him to a place where our driver had to pay to stay. Definitely not worth the money spent. I will not choose this hotel in future visit to Jaisalmer.

Beautiful property right inside the fort. The place was very clean and spotless. Its a great option to stay as you can explore the fort during early morning hours and at night (charming!) when there is hardly any tourists around. Vimal was always at the fore front to help during the entire stay. He makes sure that he is personally present at every point and also negotiated the rates for us. You get the comfort of knowing that you are in safe hands during the entire stay. We got help with everything during our stay - half day desert safari, transportation, eatery recommendations. Even during peak holidays we were taken to a desert with no tourists for the sunset during the safari. highly recommended
