The restaurant has spectacular views. The food is mediocre. The “garlic naan” is not made in a tandoor and was instead a garlic paratha—dense and flat, not soft and fluffy. The vegetable biryani was more like a fried rice than a biryani. The views might be worth it, but keep expectations low for the food.

We used the restaurant that these guys have and it has a splendid view and vibe in the evening. Food was nice and they also serve hooka which is really nice. Ambience was awesome.

I stayed there with my family for 4 nights and we had a wonderful time!! The rooms are nicely decorated, the food at the restaurant is excellent. But what makes this place so special is the quality of the service: you really feel like you are at home. The owner and his staff are very welcoming, so welcoming we ended up taking all our meals at the cafe. And then we had that extraordinary safari experience, not the fake “luxury Swiss tent” one, the real one, sleeping under the open sky, with a local guide who loves the desert and shared his passion with us (with an amazing sense of humor). In short, the perfect place to appreciate Jaisalmer and the Tar desert.

Wow, what an amazing place to stay. After travelling through India we ended our stay with 6 nights at this soul reviving guest house. The owner Anil, was the most incredible host, as were all his friendly staff. Our room was like living in a fantasy, with beautiful views, to die for food and the wonderful people, that made us realise that we had found heaven. |This is a must see for yourself destination.

A most incredible experience, staying at Desert Boys Guest House. Our host Anil is a wonderful human being, with a great smile and a caring attitude. The rooms are just beautiful, the food is so good we found it hard to eat anywhere else. Then there is the wonderful views of Jaisalmer from his Guest house, which is situated in the fort walls that just sweep you away. We spent 7 nights there and can't wait to go back. Also if you can get the chance to go on an overnight stay in the desert with the wonderful Himmit you will never stop smiling.

Authentique, propriétaire extrêmement sympathique vue imprenable sur les remparts, excellent rapport qualité prix. J'ai adoré!|Authentic place with a fabulous view on the fort. You can eat outside, looking at the spectacular view. The owner is extremely friendly and very reliable. He knows tons of things and is ready to share them with you if you ask questions. I definitely recommend this place. Great memories there! The room was spacious and confortable. Sunrise from your bed through the window is breathtaking! (If you can wake up early enough!!!)

A Fortified Oasis: Our Unforgettable Stay **Location: ★★★★★** Nestled within the ancient walls of Jaisalmer Fort, our hotel offered an enchanting experience. As we stepped through the massive wooden gates, we were transported back in time. The view of the fort from our room was nothing short of magical – a symphony of golden sandstone against the azure sky. Our dream of staying inside the Sonar Kella came true. **Pet-Friendly Haven: ★★★★★** Traveling with our furry companion, we were thrilled to find a pet-friendly oasis. The staff welcomed our dog with open arms, ensuring he had his own cozy corner by the window. His tail wagged in approval as he explored the cobbled pathways and sun-kissed terraces. **Cozy Retreat: ★★★★★** Our room was a snug retreat, adorned with intricate Rajasthani motifs. The thick stone walls kept us cool during the day and warm at night. The bed, draped in vibrant textiles, cradled us into dream-filled slumber. We felt like royalty, cocooned within history. **Rooftop Reverie: ★★★★★** The rooftop sitting area was our favorite haunt. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we sipped masala chai and watched the fort illuminate. The distant sounds of folk music echoed through the narrow alleys, and the stars above seemed within arm's reach. **Hospitality Beyond Compare: ★★★★★** The staff embodied the spirit of Rajasthan – warm, gracious, and ever-smiling. They regaled us with tales of the fort's history, shared secret viewpoints, and ensured our every need was met. It wasn't just a stay; it was an immersion into the soul of Jaisalmer. --- In this living fort, time stood still, and memories etched themselves into our hearts. If you seek a blend of heritage, comfort, and canine camaraderie, this hidden gem awaits your arrival. 🏰🐾✨ Would like to close this review with special thanks to Desert Boy for his warm hospitality since the day of my enquiry.

Seems like one of the best places to stay within the fort in Jaiselmer. View is great (both city and fort view) from the rooms, terrace and restaurant. Tried only basic Indian food. Was decent. Beautiful rustic interiors. Rooms are pretty, air conditioned with a good bed. Owners and staff are quite nice and polite. They arranged early morning pick up from the station. Very easy to roam in and around the fort on foot. Overall great stay. Absolutely recommend it.
