Shiva Guest House

Best place to stay in Jaisalmer! This old, charming house is in the middle of the fort and at the same time very quiet with a lovely neighbourhood. And Shiva, the owner, and his team try to do everything, to make your stay comfortble and assist you with anything to have an authentic experience in that desert city. He also walked with us through the town for example. It's also a great place to get a desert tour arranged! For us it was the best place in Rajasthan so far..!

Shiva is very good and he has many rooms. There are antique rooms, which are rooms of about 200 years ago, which have been well maintained. I would like to recommend everyone to this place .

Une jolie guesthouse au calme dans le fort de Jaisalmer. C'est très propre et convivial. Un lieu où il fait bon de se poser et prendre son temps. La maison est typique et joliment aménagé. On y trouve de l'écoute et tout les conseils nécessaires piye pour passer un bon voyage. Des excursions dans le désert sont organisées, très belle expérience que de dormir à la belle étoile ! Merci Martine et Shiva pour ce bel accueil !

A pretty, quiet guesthouse in Jaisalmer Fort. It's very clean and friendly. A place where it's good to relax and take your time. The house is typical and nicely furnished. There you will find listening and all the necessary advice for a good trip. Excursions in the desert are organized, a great experience to sleep under the stars! Excellent accueil de Shiva et Martine. J'ai passé un séjour reposant, loin des tracas souvent dus au voyage. J'ai pu me reposer sur Shiva pour Booker une nuit dans le désert et mes billets de bus. La Guesthouse est idéalement située à l'intérieur du fort où on se sent vraiment en sécurité. Le wifi est très bon. J'y étais tellement bien que j'y ai pris tous mes repas car la cuisine est fraîche et authentique. Merci pour ce merveilleux séjour !

Excellent welcome from Shiva and Martine. I had a relaxing stay, far from the hassles often caused by travel. I was able to rely on Shiva to book a night in the desert and my bus tickets. The Guesthouse is ideally located inside the fort where you feel really safe. The wifi is very good. I was so happy there that I had all my meals there because the cuisine is fresh and authentic. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

J ai passé un excellent séjour chez Shiva guest house. C est un endroit très bien situé dans le fort, atypique, chaleureux avec un rooftop où il fait bon de se poser . Ma chambre était spacieuse et très propre. Shiva est un hôte accueillant et qui fait son possible pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible. C’est également un excellent cuisinier. Grâce à lui je suis allé aussi faire un magnifique safari dans le désert de Thar , admirer un superbe coucher du soleil, dîner autour d un feu de bois et dormir sous un incroyable ciel étoilé . Un séjour chez Shiva que je n oublierai pas

I had an excellent stay at Shiva guest house. It’s a very well located place in the fort, atypical, warm with a rooftop where it’s nice to relax. My room was spacious and very clean. Shiva is a welcoming host who does his best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. He is also an excellent cook. Thanks to him I also went on a magnificent safari in the Thar desert, admiring a superb sunset, dining around a wood fire and sleeping under an incredible starry sky. Un lieu magique, hors du temps… Déjà, c’est à l’intérieur du fort de Jaisalmer où règnent des énergies ultra positives, doublé des vibrations de cette guesthouse, c’est le passeport pour un séjour unique. L’accueil est chaleureux, les chambres sont douillettes, la nourriture délicieuse… Je n’ai qu’une envie y retourner !

A magical place, timeless... Firstly, it is inside the Jaisalmer fort where ultra positive energies reign, coupled with the vibrations of this guesthouse, it is the passport for a unique stay. The welcome is warm, the rooms are cozy, the food delicious... I just want to go back!
