THAMLA HAVELI - Heritage Lake View Hotel

As a girl solo traveller I found the hotel very safe,comfortable & welcoming. The staff is very polite & helpful. I even extended my stay because of the true Rajasthani warmth & respect Thamla haveli and the city itself offered. It was an outstanding experience overall of staying at a heritage haveli & the proximity to all the local attractions which the managers Mr.Rishiraj & Mahendra ji helped me explore by arranging my safe commute.Rooms are very clean & super comfortable. Staff's honesty & sincerity is commendable & reflects the true spirit of Mewar. Looking forward to my next stay at Thamla for sure.

We stayed at the property for 2nights and the location is great. You can watch Gangaur Ghat from your balcony. Room service, cleanliness was top notch as we were with infant we were extra particular about that. Room were quite spacious giving my infant ample space to crawl. We also tried laal maas from their kitchen it was just awesome. The only thing which bothered me was they were all about rules. Ex- they can't give fork in room as cutlery. I don't know why this rule. Overall I would recommend to others to book this place.

I stayed here with my wife on 29th June 2025. The hotel’s location is excellent. From Room No. 109, you get a clear view of Gangaur Ghat even while lying on the bed – absolutely beautiful! Unlike other places where rooms often have a musty smell, the rooms here were completely clean and fresh, with proper air circulation due to well-designed windows. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Mr. Manish, the chef – a genuinely kind and humble person. When we needed a scooty on rent, they helped us without any greed or extra charges. The hotel owner lives on the ground floor, which made the stay feel very homely, like we were staying with family. The rooftop is also nice and peaceful, adding to the charm of the place.

The service at Thamla Haveli is pathetic. No complimentary water, no room service, unhygienic rooms, and overpriced drinks at the rooftop. The manager Devraj Singh Jhala was extremely rude and arrogant. He even said reviews don’t matter to them. Never staying again.

An exquisite stay, clean rooms, good facilities top notch views from the rooms which have jharokha. And rooftop is just like cherry on the cake. You can get the views of beautiful Pichola lake, ghats, sunrise. The night view is to die for❤️

Terrible stay at Thamla Haveli. Nothing about this hotel is guest-friendly. They charge for everything, even drinking water. No room service, poor cleanliness, and the manager was the rudest I’ve ever met. Please don’t waste your money here.

The service at Thamla Haveli was a nightmare. No complimentary water, no room service, terrible hygiene, and the staff only care about money. The manager openly admitted they don’t care about reviews. Worst stay ever – avoid at all costs.

Rooms were dirty and hotel staff was very rude. Don't believe in whatever they say at first, they will add hidden charges at the time of checkout and will argue with you. The staff will even misbehave with girls. Food was very expensive, consider atleast 2x expensive than what you will get in that area.
