The Royal Lake View Villa

The overall experience was mixed. The room itself was decent, but the curtains were quite dirty and the space didn’t feel fresh until the staff used a room freshener. The food quality was also below expectations — both the taste and quantity didn’t justify the high prices. If you plan to stay here, I’d recommend eating out instead. The best part about this place is its prime location, close to all major attractions like Ambrai Ghat, Bagore Ki Haveli, Lake Pichola, Jagdish Temple, Gangaur Ghat, and City Palace — all within easy reach. Suggestions: Improve the food quality, and ensure rooms are cleaned and refreshed a few hours before guest arrival. Would I recommend it? Probably not, unless you’re here mainly for the convenient location.

Only a bit of a lake view from the roof - not from the rooms.. The roof top restaurant is scruffy and feels abandoned. Room was ok - small good bed & clean sheets. But bathroom was not clean - mouldy dirty wall tiles. Toilet seems to leak onto the floor somehow. The place is just too noisy - staff run up & down the stairs until 11pm with no consideration - shouting up and down to each other which echoes throughout the stairwell - banging noises and neighbours shouting until midnight - don’t expect much sleep there - even with earplugs ! Not a good stay sadly

Very good location and price. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is basic and what you pay for but it’s very good value. Rooms are clean and AC works really well. Staff always around to help.

We stayed 3 nights at The Royal Lake View Villa and we were really happy with it. The location is great, the rooms very sweet and nice and the staff super helpful and friendly. We definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you for everything 🙏🏽

The location is very near to most of the tourist attractions, its at a walkable distance from most of the spots. The service, staff and food was amazing. Special mention to their in house chef who does wonders in his cooking. A very humble, friendly and caring staff who will make you feel at home as much as possible. The rooms very spacious and clean. In the evening time, you can go upto the roof top and have a peaceful and relaxing evening. A five star for this stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

It was great experience. Location is near Lake pichola. City palace ,market, gangaur ghat are just at walkable distance. We booked room for family. Room was very clean and service was quick, staff was very supportive. It was may be haveli before. Great background to capture the photos.

People of the hotel were very kind. Rooms are clean. Rooftop is nice with a small space to practice yoga.

First I should mention that the host is really good. He took care of small small things related to our stay. It's at a walking distance from lake. There are so many nice roof top restaurants nearby. This also has roof top restaurants but can't accomodate big groups. Thanks to the host for arranging our transport. Thanks to the hotel staff for making nice ginger and cardamom teas. The rooms are air conditioned and very clean. Bathroom is clean and simple and has a geyser. So overall worth staying
