Hotel Sonam Delek

I visited the hotel after 10 years, the first time was for a business trip, and my recent visit was holidays with family and friends (about 20 persons) in October 2024 . The hotel location is amazing, the view from the hotel balcony is breathtaking. The hotel staff are so courteous and helpful. Manager Mr. Pranoy was very helpful while check-in and check-out, the kitchen staff and serving staff accommodated our requests for food always. The best part is they allowed us a birthday celebrations on the common balcony and made necessary arrangements. I highly recommend to people visiting Gangtok to stay at this place. It is very close to MG Road (walkable - 5 minutes). The best part is hotel staff accepting our requests with smile always.

This hotel offers a delightful stay with exceptional hospitality. Staffs are welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience as it was my 4th and consecutive 2 visits in Mar-Apr. Thanks to Mr. Pronay. The rooms are well-maintained, and the ambiance is peaceful. The personalized service and friendly atmosphere making it a perfect choice for a relaxing getaway.

We stayed in Sonam Delek for 4 nights. We had taken 2 suites and 2 super delux rooms. Rooms - Suite rooms were huge especially room 405. All the rooms had a decent sized balcony with fantastic views. We could view Kanchenjunga clearly from the balcony on 2 days. Location : Location is quite close to M G Marg(7-8 mins walk) and you would also get taxis(INR 50-100) all the time. While coming back from M G Marg,it would be a climb and hence if you have elders in your group,advisable to book a taxi. Food : Food was very delicious and service was quite good. We had complementary breakfast which had a decent spread and was very tasty. Staff : The high point of this hotel. Exceptional staff who readily welcome you and are very proactive. To summarise,this is a hotel with a super balcony view, great location close to the MG Marg and a very welcoming staff. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at HOTEL SONAM DELEK, GANGTOK and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to the friendly front desk staff who greeted me with a smile and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The room was immaculate and well-appointed, with all the amenities one could ask for. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the room's decor and the stunning view from the window. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent service provided by the hotel staff - sevika ,Rohan ,subodh and the manager.The housekeeping team did an outstanding job of keeping the room spotless and well-stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. Additionally, the concierge was incredibly helpful in recommending local attractions and arranging transportation. I had the opportunity to dine at the hotel restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the level of service. The waitstaff was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure that every meal was a delightful experience. Overall, my stay at [Hotel Sonam Delek exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of luxurious accommodations and exceptional service made for a truly memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a top-notch place to stay.

I stayed in HSD in room no. 402 (Deluxe room) from 14/5/24 to 18/5/24 with my family (wife and son). We were just overwhelmed with the hospitality of the Manager ( Mr. Pronoy jee) and the hotel staffs. They are always ready to make you feel at ease. Always greeting with a smile. Breakfast is just awesome with unlimited food. Quality of food is also nice. We felt really at home away from home. Would love to visit again in future.
