Hotel Mazong Residency

Worst hotel ever. All the staffs are greedy. Thay have no intention to serve. All faulty information they only can provide. They had agreed the room rent for @1300/- in this dry off season. But the sadly twist was they had charged 2800/- for 30 hrs of stay. Very untidy rooms. Misbehaved greedy manager did not refunded the extra amount. It was also told by the locals that the hotel is the worst one. Very poor management. They always serve lowest quality food. The tour managing facilities is also very disappointing. All the tourists are adviced to stay away from the hotel.

The hotel owner is simply frustrating and disgusting. Unlawful manner and he had no ways to keeping right agreements. He told the room costing @1300 but chaged 2800 for only just 30 hours spending. I wish i will complain the competant authority. All tourists should avoid this hotel completely.

Location was very good, room was good but hotel stuff's behaviour was very bad, when we asking for tea, hotel stuff told us, they are not provide tea 😡😡

I have travelled a lot and stayed may budget hotels in different countries. If i would my experience in this hotel, thousands of words will need to explain. The only good thing of this hotel is the location. Rather than, whatever you ask for, it will get negative mark. The owner & staff are the most unprofessional i have ever seen. And don't even take package for Lachung or any sightseeing. Later i will add more details regarding my stay here.

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in my life. Rooms were dirty, bed sheet and covers were dirty and smelly. Service was extremely unprofessional and the owner is a fraud. They will cheat and lie to get more money out of your pockets. They also have an agency. Its your loss if you choose to travel with them.

I booked room for 6 adults and 1 child ( 12 year old) We had a pleasant and comfortable trip. All the service boys, managers are very co-operative. For any service, staffs are always there to help you. Rooms are neat and clean, with all the required facilities. Food quality was good and they served fresh and hot food. Its a good budget hotel on the very near (Just 1/2 Minutes) to the MG road.||Did a family trip to Gangtok. Booked this hotel directly on its website From Njp railway station took a taxi and headed directly to this hotel. Right from the rooms, the staff, the room service, the cleanliness, on time service it was an amazing experience. Overall not only me, but my wife and others loved the hotel. Hats off to the captain of this hotel - Mr.Pankaj. The owner of this hotel helped you book a great package for trip to Lachung, Lachen and other places regularly visited by tourists. He had arranged for transport for the entire tour in reasonable price.||Room trip room No 204 and if you are in a group of 5 to 6 then the terrace room is best the Kanchenjunga is viewed from the room. |||||| Stayed March 2015, travelled with family and relatives.

Frankly speaking. This hotel is one of the worst hotel I had to reside.the location is a plus point for this hotel,rooms are untidy and there's a lack of management of hotel.poor room service,big mosquitoes,irresponsible staff. Very bad hotel except the location. We advance booked the hotel still they didn't got our hotel ready at time. Staffs are untidy and outsiders are entering our hotel any time.

I stayed for one night on 06/11/2015 with my family. We booked two rooms. I had a bitter experience. I think it is one of the terrible hotels in Gangtok I have ever seen in my life. The room were very dirty and bad smell was coming out from the bed and blankets. The bed and blanket was not clean. There were no hot water in the bathroom though geyser was there. Not only that water supply of the bathroom was not for 24 hrs. One of the bathroom had just a night bulb.
