Stayed in Premium Suite room, with Japanese style decor, a lovely balcony, overlooking massive Himalayas & Kanchenjunga view. Room was very big, with lovely Japanese type partition, 2 big sofa sets on each partitions, huge 65 inch TV set - and most important - pure wooden floor . The staffs were so soft & always helpful . Special mention Shristika, Abhisekh etc on front desk.. Breakfast was buffet with plenty items , so much to eat & had to skip lunch literally. Location is just beside MG Marg or Mall Rd …. Also just beside this Hotel, there is a big Mall with McDonalds, Starbucks etc … overall it was an excellent stay at Avianna Hungry Jack.

They have made a beautiful hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. But they need a lesson or two in hospitality. They don't know how to provide proper room service. They take a lot of time for check in. They provided a room with two separate single beds for a couple. They don't even provide drinking water in the room. Not at all good.

Our 3 night stay in this hotel was a nightmare. One has to wait for more than 2 hr for checking in to start with. No mineral water was provided in rooms. Our TV & hair dryer didn't work at all for 3 days. Food was pathetic to say the least. When we express our issues to the management, the owners husband even told us to move out of the hotel at once if we couldn't adjust with their issues. The staff mostly is highly inexperienced and very few in numbers to cater a full House. Room and property maintenance is least priority of current management. The guy at reception was arrogant enough to even said what we provide is enough as in this peak tourist season hardly any rooms available at this price. I strongly suggest not to book this hotel with this management in place. It's the worst hotel experience in my life.

The management is simply destroying a hotel with great location and potential. Misbehaviour, zero maintenance and poor service are the highlights of our 3 night stay there. The owner continuously defended their short commings such as out of order lift, room television, hair dryer. Food quality was pathetic and that too took more than 1 hr to be delivered. Breakfast starts after 9 only, as if tourist will be sitting in the hotel for entire morning. The owners were ill behaved to say the least. I suggest no-one to stay here.

It's a really best option if you are looking for an affordable & safe place to stay and near to MG Road. Staff was really welcoming and good! Food is also good!

My two-day stay at Hungry Jack was a terrible experience. Here are the key points: 1. Room service was extremely poor. It was a nightmare. I had to call 5-6 times just to get drinking water to my room. When the water finally arrived, one side of the bottle was covered in tobacco spit. Instead of addressing the issue, the owner spoke to me rudely. One day, they even ran out of water bottles. Getting food delivered to my room also required multiple calls. Food quality is also sick 2. The photos of the executive room with a balcony on their online platform are misleading and do not match reality. 3. Despite the high price, the amenities were lacking. Only wifi was satisfactory. The bathroom amenities consisted of a neem soap bar and a single Sunsilk pouch, which is subpar compared to even a 2-star hotel. 4. The location is the only good thing about this hotel, but they do not have parking space. I would recommend booking Gangtok Prime Spa for a similar price but with much better service, hospitality, hygiene, and promptness. Save yourself from ruining your trip mood.

I have experienced the most horrible hotel stay experience of my life there. Incompetent staff and management, poorly maintained property and pathetic service were the highlights of our stay. Senior citizens with knee issues like me will suffer as their lift and room tv dont work. The owner simply refuse accept or improve any issue we raised. Please don't stay here.
