Hotel Parasol Residency

I came to this hotel with lots of positives, but felt miserable after coming. Service is poorest with 2 staff only. No room service, poor dining facilities, no intercom, no menu. Prices charged based on will of the manager. Found one of the rooms in basement leaking with rain water. Management couldn't do anything except to ignore. One of the bathroom didn't have the lights working. There was no handle in another room 205. When asked for additional blanket, they didn't have. So , I would not recommend this hotel for any price you pay. Not Worth it, highly disappointed.

The services provided at this hotel are pathetic. Basic cleanliness is not present here. Food quality and staff quality both are below par. And for any additional services you have to request at least 2-3 times to get it done. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone. It was my bad that I had ignored previous reviews. I won't recommend anyone else doing the same mistake.

It is a awesome place according to me because of the rooms and cleanliness you can get with a wide view under your budget. Lack of experience of the hotel may matter but otherwise it's really a beautiful hotel in Gangtok with a very homely atmosphere. I loved it.

Best hotel for Family trip. Room Services are nice and Behaviour of the staffs are very kind and polite. In the Restaurant foods taste great. Big Bazar & the main market (Lal Market) of Gangtok is in short Distance.

It was a bad experience when I visited there in May 2017. The restaurant is average, but the staff was offensive. They denied us any money receipt at checkout. It is far away from MG Marg. A visit there will require taxi fares. Mr Sadhu at Sikkim tourism Kolkata office will surely offer you this place, but never should you fall prey to that. Far better hotels at cheaper rates are available

Horrible service by owner and housekeeping. Worst experience. Owner needs advance payement for stay and then will deny services as promised before. They just wany to make maximum money in this pick season so fooling customers. They charged us online for three room bed and then provided room for two people. They took lots of comission for booking taxis. Took advance payement for that too and then next day there is no taxi provided. It was two day stay at hotel and were worst days of our trip. No water for first 24 hours. Note: Please do not be attracted by photos because services are pathetic.

Pros: Price is optimum. Rooms are good with attached bathroom and gyser. Food Quality is Homelike and not readymade. Staff behaviour is good. Hotel View is quite good. Cons: No Laundry Facilities. No WiFi & Newspaper. Food pricing is a bit higher. Housekeeping services are not so good. No Proper Room Service (Booked 17 - 20 th July 2018)

I think very burst hotel.we stay 2 night but our experience was not good . There was no water in bathrooms in first 24 hours. Behaviour of the owner is very bad. We saw he misbehave number of customers. He charged 22000/- for zero point from us and he pay only 10000/- to driver at last we pay 2500/- more to driver. Number of times owner is telling a lie. My suggestion to tourists never stay in this Hotel
