Hotel New Yargay

No sense of seriousness and service is pathetic, rooms are bad, geysers don't work, showers don't work , no room service, food really bad and too costly. One of the room is too small it only has one bed and it's all that is. And rent is same from others? Serious issue in common sense. And owner was really rude and had very bad behavior. She literally told us to empty the room when it was 12 in the night just because we ordered some food to eat, no outside food allowed. Weird policies. I'm never visiting again. I've traveled from Kolkata by bike. Truly shity experience

This was the worst kind of service. We stored our luggage in a room, and then the lock got stuck. Even the maintenance guy couldn't help fix it; it took 12 hours to resolve the issue. This wasted half a day of our trip, causing us a lot of stress and changing the mood of our vacation. We couldn't go out because all our luggage was inside the room, and we couldn't even change our clothes to go out into the city. Additionally, the geyser in our room didn't work. We moved to another room, but the geyser there also didn't work properly; it took an hour to get hot water. The owner was unreachable during these issues, but when it came to collecting the rent, she was the first to contact us. She even charged us for the room where the key got stuck in the lock, which was beyond our control to fix

We were a group of 6 people and had stayed in this property on 16th oct 2018 for 3 days. The rooms are neat and clean with 24 hrs hot water. The hotel has fooding facility too ..... The food was delicious. I had specially loved their dal fry very yummiez😋😋 special thanks to Mr Ganesh Singh who was extremely helpful... he had organized our sightseeing around Gangtok plus a trip to Baba mandir.... On dusherra there were very few vehicles for Siliguri but Mr Ganesh Singh did all the coordination and arranged a pick up to the bus stand plus he arranged a car for us to return back to Siliguri. I,being the group head, started panicking as our train seats were confirmed and missing the train would have put us in a lot of problem as we were having excess luggage....once again a big big thank you 🙏 to Mr Ganesh Singh and Hotel Yargay for making our stay very comfortable 🙏 Hope to visit this property again in the future🙏
