This hotel exceeded all our expectations and provided an unforgettable experience. Location: Situated in the charming area of Upper Tadong, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the surrounding hills. It's a perfect spot for those who want to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still being conveniently close to Gangtok's main attractions. Rooms: Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities we could ask for. The bed was plush and comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night's sleep. Waking up to the breathtaking views of the mountains from our window was a highlight of our stay. Service: The service at Bassu's Gangtok Hotel was impeccable. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Worst experience..zero room service..Main thing this hotel is 8 km away from city area..you have to pay about 1500/- for visit M.G.market.. You have to wait for food more than 2 hours after order.. when you ask for lunch/dinner they told “bus ready hai” but you have to wait for minimum 2 hours..tea/coffee is like water .. isse achha food road par mil jayega..not providing free water.. not providing towels… family ke sath agar pareshan hona hai to yeh hotel book karna.. Gangtok me is hotel ka rasta local car wale bhi nahi jante…yeh five star nahi zero star hotel hai pls pls pls don’t book this hotel..

होटल बासु नवीन व सुसज्जित है वहाँ के ऑनर कलकत्ता निवासी प्रेम व वात्सल्य की प्रतिमूर्ति श्री अरविन्दम भटाचार्य है वे इतने प्रेमी पुरुष है कि स्वयं डाइनिंग हॉल में खड़े रहकर सभी को भोजन परोसते है उनकी मेजबानी काबिले तारीफ है। मै गंतोक जाने वालो को सलाह देता हूँ कि वे होटल बासु मेही जाए।

Hotel Basu is new and well equipped. Its Honorary resident of Calcutta is the epitome of love and affection, Mr. Arvindam Bhattacharya. He is such a loving man that he himself stands in the dining hall and serves food to everyone. His hospitality is praiseworthy. I advise people visiting Gangtok to go to Hotel Basu Mehi.

बहुत ही अच्छा अनुभव रहा द बासु होटल का और मैनेजर सर का व्यवहार भी बहुत खुशनुमा व शालीन था तथा कमरे और सर्विस भी बहुत ही अच्छी थी ।

It was a very good experience at The Basu Hotel and the behavior of the manager sir was very pleasant and polite and the rooms and service were also very good.
