Central Hill Resort The Mall Road Gangtok

I recently stayed at Central Hotel in Gangtok, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, situated right in the heart of Gangtok, which made it easy to explore nearby attractions. The views of the surrounding hills from the hotel were breathtaking, adding a serene touch to our stay. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, and their local knowledge was helpful in planning our day trips. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. I particularly enjoyed the cozy bed and the lovely balcony that offered a beautiful view of the mountains. The only area where I felt there was room for improvement was the food. While the breakfast spread was decent, the lunch and dinner options could use more variety and flavor. That said, the hotel is located close to many restaurants, so we had no trouble finding great local cuisine nearby. Overall, Central Hotel is a good choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Gangtok. I would recommend it to travelers who prioritize location and friendly service.

If you are finding a hotel near MG Marg, Its a nice palce to stay. We had a wonderful time during our stay. The service was excellent, and our accommodations were comfortable, clean, and charming. Be sure to visit the rooftop—the view is absolutely stunning. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making our experience so memorable.

I was booking 2 rooms in here on the date of 25th sep from their sites, but due to heavy rain fall I've to stay gangtok and booked the hotel for more 2days, from online booking, we face some site issues, but backend team is very good, solve our issues, also reception overview is very good, room also good looking, and overall property is under working, But the main problem is front staff, they are not much professional, even I'm totally utter when we was entering the room, the room was clumsy, we told then they were settled the bed, everyday the bathroom door lock was broken and we call they set, we ask for tea and coffee, not even a single time they ask us for any hospitality, also I'm just surprised in the last check out day, we were informed them our check out timing, also ask that the door keys handover whom and when, and also if they've any check out formalities or anything, feel free to tell, they are just spoken '' ha Vishal rehega", and morning we saw that two staff are sleeping on couch, and no one in reception, the staff told us in dizzy mode ' Haan, 'thik hein' we just left the key here and left the hotel, so, I'm just wondering that if this type of staff I keep my office or organisation, they completely ruined my business, just think it is too much easy for any guest to damage anything of the room or steal anything or also steal they keys, no one is here to check that. And In my whole life When I'm going any hotel, resort or homestay anywhere, at least the check out time one staff address me, and give me warm good bye as like as the warm welcome, so In future I also wanted visit the same place for 2nd time, But the ground staffs are so much bogus where I don't feel that. Mainly I understand the hotel owner is not there, that's why the staffs are careless, bu in online booking management team is very much helpful.

It was a good stay. We really enjoyed it, the room was clean and spacious, the location was nice, the service was exceptional. Would love to stay in future as well. And Mr. Imran was really helpful and professional, he really made our stay more easy and comfortable. And all the other staffs were nice.

I would suggest do not book central hill resort Gangtok. If you will book u will destroy your trip. They charged full payment. I booked this hotel for 4 nights but not able to stay for 2 day. Very very bad staff I ever seen in my life. Stayed in this hotel on 28- 30 may24, it was very horrifying experience during my stay. 1.The room has damp and dirty . 2. Facility maintenance is very poor, water supply is major problem. Bathroom flush was not working properly. I have change twice the room but it's all the same in another room. No bathroom accessories available in the room. 3. All staff receptionist, kitchen staff service staff was very very rude. They do not have eticates how to behave with guest. 4. The manager doesn't listen any complain. 5. Staff charged me extra payment for food. NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL I would request to hotel kindly reimburse my one day payment.

Stayed in this hotel on 17 to 20 may24, it was very horrifying experience during my stay. 1.The room has damp and dirty . 2. Facility maintenance is very poor, water supply is major problem. Bathroom flush was not working properly. I have change twice the room but it's all the same in another room 3. The kitchen staff is very very rude. 4. The manager doesn't listen any complain. NOT RECOMMEND TO STAY IN THIS HOTEL

Stayed at this property on 9th May 2024. Had a disappointing experience. There is no proper water supply at this hotel. I had experienced no water situation 3 times during my stay. When requested for water supply in bathroom, the receptionist asked me to wait until availability of running water supply. They provided normal tap water filled in a one time usable mineral water bottle for drinking ( after requesting many times). The rooms are very old and walls and curtains are dirty. Bath towel provided was having stain of corrosion. Very rude behaving room boy. Not recommended for a hygienic stay with family.
