RIDAN - A Boutique Hotel

A beautiful and peaceful abode in Gangtok. It is not a hotel but more of a homestay, and therefore, it has that home like feeling. The caretaker and manager Sanjeev ji, a very nice person and host and was always there ready to help. The rooms were very neat and clean, and the area was quiet and peaceful. They served meals as per our request and demands and the food was too good, especially the breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a much recommended place of stay.

The property is good and rooms are decent. The service helpers are also quite good. The manager however is the only con I could see and improvement has to be made in order to improve the overall experience for the guests coming in. Instructions given to the manager are not followed through and the overall hotel management skill seems to be scarce.

Edited: The manager is pathetic.. In the month of Dec 23 he gave it in writing that rooms 101 and 102 are booked for us for the month of March and took advance. When we landed in March, he says the rooms have already been allotted and that we would have to adjust for one night and he would give the room the next day. It is almost 7pm the next day now and the room has yet not been allotted. Pathetic service. Never coming back and never gonna recommend. Like others, since there is no option to reply to your lies, am editting to respond. You know very well that we had asked for rooms on the base floor so that my parents do not have to climb or use stairs and the manager had given the room nos in writing. He had also given in writing that since he has messed up, we would not be charged for a day for 1 room. To cover up all the mess, you all asked the driver to use a room for a day and told us that this has been adjusted with one free stay. Please stop lying. Would have appreciated if you spoke the truth and accepted the mess your manager created. Also have advised your manager that he needs to support his team and not always put the blame of the mess on others. When management does not know how to accept their mistake, how will the manager learn!?

Stay is awesome. One of the best view from this hotel room. Staff behaviour is very good. Also in house restaurant food is amazing. Neat and clean property. This property located on the main road. Not far from Mg marg. Easily get share cab infront of the hotel.

Had an amazing experience. All the staffs are cordial and nice. Just a call away for quick service. I liked the ambience, view and the sanity maintained at the hotel. Food was amazing with beverages. I only find reason to praise for the wonderful experience.

The hotel is neat and clean. The staff and owners are very polite and friendly. Nice hospitality. They provided homely and tasty food. Felt very happy stay. Enjoyed a lot the campfire chit chats in night. My kids enjoyed the stay a lot.

Ridan hotel is very beautiful. The room is very spacious. The bathroom is very clean & well maintained. The view outside the room is mesmerizing The hotel staff are very polite, helpful & caring. It doesn't feel like you are staying in a hotel away from your home because they take care of us so well!! I would definitely recommend everyone going to Gangtok must go to this Place. And top of the cheery we booked our entire trip to Sikkim with them. They offer you affordable rates. Special Thanks to Nitin for arranging all the things for us. And Thank You to all the staffs for such an amazing hospitality & Care!!😊😊
