Hotel O Triplicane formerly Park Royal

SC@M alert! Immediately after I entered I was not sure why this place had so many good reviews. Read until the end to find out. Room is outdated, almost everything made of metal is rusty (handles, bin, etc). Bathroom is small and stinky, as the water never flows completely down the drain, the smell spreads to the room as well if the door is not closed (we were told by the staff nothing can be done about it and received an air freshener). At first we got just one towel (for a double room) and we had to ask for a second one. Also there was no wifi password in the room (would be much easier to have it printed on the wall or something). There wasn't even a soap to wash your hands. Mosquitoes always in the room. Dirty air fan. Some positives: We appreciate that they let us check in 1h early and leave our bags after check out. Also there was hot water in the shower and very good water pressure. However WiFi was poor, sometimes the signal would disappear which disturbed our remote work. The worst thing is that 1hour after we checked out we received a notification from booking thanking us for a review we didn't write (positive of course). It must've been the hotel who wrote it, because during the check in they took our phone to check the booking ID (and the pin apparently) which allows you to log in and leave a review. Then we realized there were more similar reviews, probably all fake. We confronted the staff when we went to pick up the bags and they pretended they didn't know what we were talking about. Maybe they have a bot installed? Watch out.

Dear friends don’t fall down with fake reviews, iam also one of the victim because of false reviews n photos, please take care with this IDIOTS, iam not kidding they taken 1735/- for 9hrs and treated as beggars, no hot water, no AC, no clean lines, pls take care before selecting this kind of slum hotels 🙏

The rooms were clean and the service was good. Best hotel for couples....room space was a Bit congested but overall experience was good

The parking arrangements were extremely poor. The location was incorrectly marked on the main road, when in fact it's situated on a narrow lane. The parking space is severely limited, forcing most vehicles to park on the road.

Smelly and dirty. Never slept in a hotel with so much lint and dust in it. Also, the towels we got were stained with something disgusting.

Google maps location show main road however it's inside small street. Highly mislead and not much call support in finding the location

Nice hotel and very near to beach, enjoyed the street foods ... I suggest foodies to explore this place
