Capital O Hotel Rosewood Inn

Really enjoyed the service received at the Hotel. The highlight of the hotel is the rooftop restaurant and the owner/manager who gives excellent service to guests. The location of hotel is really good ad clock tower is around 6 km away and robbers cave is on the otherside around 3 km away. Unlike the markets areas in Dehrahdun (some may prefer the market areas), this area is a bit more calm. however connectivity is not an issue at all as this is the route to mussoorie, Rishikesh etc. I would have preferred windows to the rooms but it need not be a deal breaker.

Rooms are OK. Service is pathetic, you have to come out of the room to take drinking water. Food services are pathetic, they don't have own kitchen and provide food / tea / coffee through a nearby restaurant & they will serve you food in disposable plates, tea / coffee is served in plastic pouches like roadside tea stalls. I was there for around 7 days, I told them clearly about my stay and paid some advance also but every day they ask you to make payment. They treat every guest like Oyo loving couples who come just for few hours.

With the price point that I booked the hotel is good but overall it's okayish. Good for budget traveller's but not for family. It is on main road which is a plus point but lacks basic toiletries. The washrooms and room are not well maintained.

Very bad hotel. We booked the room through OYO, reached 11:10 PM in late night, and the security guard says in bad tone that hotel is full. I called him to call manager.. he told he went for food. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes he called manager. Manager told hotel is full. What a monopoly!.... They even see that we are with family, mummy, papa.. Owner says it is Saturday and is full. Is that the reason of full.. what people are doing on Saturdays.. Ultimately this hotel is not treating their customers responsibly and respectfully....

This hotel is mostly used for one night stands. Room service is pathetic. The hotel claims it doesn’t have a master key. We 5 stuck in the elevator which has no instructions regarding the load or number of people it can carry. The manager was very rude and argued stating why did you 5 used the lift together, it can’t carry the load. It’s in house kitchen doesn’t have cutlery and to accommodate this they send paper plates. Rooms are pathetic, stains in bed mattress, pillows, bed sheets, pillow cover. The bed mattress has cigarette burnt holes. Curtains are stained. It’s noisy at night, girls screaming. Noise of glasses or glass bottles being broken. The corridor has smell of cigs smoke. In conclusion if you are looking for a good and peaceful stay please don’t bother yourself considering this one.
