Hotel The Glenroy by DLS Hotels

It was the worst stay I have ever had at any hotel. This hotel is not worth more than 2000 rs per night , if you are paying more then you should be alarmed. Issues we faced: 1. The road leading to this hotel is extremely difficult to drive your car on, its only suitable for a scooty or bike, everyone staying there had major problems.. it's like the path is so bad for driving that despite having a car we rented a bike so as to prevent damage to our car 2. The rooms are very smelly, no proper ventilation. In pictures they look much better but in reality it's so so bad 3. Breakfast was really bad and we did not have any breakfast there and when we asked to refund they completely denied. The receptionist in fact was handing us a manually created food bill for stuff we never ordered 4. Uncooperative staff, we had booked 2 rooms and we were told that there are couple of options you can choose from but the helper was not even ready to let us see other rooms. Staying at this hotel was the lowest point of our trip. Will never return back

Front desk not cooperative. The hotel claims to be on the mall road but it is on a very steep slope and your taxi cannot enter the mall road and there is no pick up facility from the hotel management. As a result we asked the front desk to send a porter to collect our luggage but the front desk refused. House keeping staff and restaurant staff was very cooperative with good service. Food was very delicious with good and clean valley facing room

Road to this place is very steep and narrow very difficult to take turn, staff was very rude and unfriendly. Rooms were filthy and dusty. It's very unhygienic bathrooms any complaints to manager they never took seriously. No convenience for senior citizens food was very average. To be Frank staff nor management lack empathy towards travellers. I don't know how people have rated this hotel as 3 or above this hotel is not worth for even 1 star. If you are looking for family stay pls avoid this hotel.

Worst Room Service for this price range. I booked thru MMT with full advance payment. The room lacks basic facilities like Drinking water, intercom, toiletries, towel, dental kit etc which were mentioned in MMT document. Hotel staff s are bunch in-experience young boys who were lying after complaining who do not take responsibility of room service. Also location is near Mall road but very difficult walk from hotel, so you are exhausted everytime you get out of hotel, not good Sr citizen.

Staying in this hotel was a nightmare. Dirty bed linens, reception staff Anil remained drunk during my stay. He looked insane and suspicious person. He followed us while were roaming around. They mislead you to sell these rooms. Rooms looked haunted as some sort of unknown voice was coming through bathroom . I looked in and I found no one but this continued . I had to shift to another room with my family member. Go there only if you think you are brave enough to deal with haunted rooms. I will not recommend anyone for safety's sake.

I booked rooms with balcony valley view. The rooms were exactly same as shown in the pictures however there is no such view. It’s a very lean balcony. Don’t take your own vehicle as the road towards hotel is very steep and it’s very narrow as well. You can easily park at the hotel but will face difficulties while going out and bcz of such road you’ll not feel like going out. Nearest to the mall road but everytime you enter with your vehicle you’ll have to pay 150/- as an entrance charges. Food is awesome and so the service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Still I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to tourists.

Good hotel , rooms are clean scenic beauty is great... manager is very supporting staff is very nice just 2 cons : its location can be an issue like us... food can be more better... otherwise fine.

Rooms is average. Experience with hotel is also average Issues we faced: 1. In pictures they look much better but in reality it's so so bad But hotel manager MR.SANDEEP is very caring person ,very helpful.he is always ready for our customers.we give to 5 star rating to MR.SANDEEP .
