AB's Abode-A Boutique Hotel

This place was a bit of a mixed bag. The staff was fairly friendly and the rooms were alright. The view was absolutely beautiful. But the breakfast wasn’t worth it, half the items weren’t available and we gave up and left. That would have been fine if they hadn’t demanded to see the Google review. We said it was good and they said please leave Google review now and show me. I would have given 4-5 stars but I don’t enjoy that practice because it often means we can’t trust hotels in India and have had bad luck before. So please accept the feedback to ask if there were any problems and how to do better instead of demanding or pestering for reviews. It leaves a bad taste 🥲

This hotel has the best service and hospitality I have ever seen. Rooms are near and clean. Food is good. Location is good. Best is the staff of this hotel. More than value for money. Kristy at reception and Narendra driver are very helpful.

Positive- Great location, about 400km from Mall Road (walkable). Additionally they offer free pick-up and drop off to Mall Road. The mountain view from balcony rooms is breathtaking. Room condition and cleanliness is acceptable. Negative- Room service was not very responsive and staff forgot to replace towels, tea/coffee, cups during daily cleaning. Bathroom door was faulty and got locked from inside. Had to call room service guy to open it. Created a bit of panic situation. Needs Improvement- Buffet breakfast served was not hot.

Terrible Experience - Avoid This Hotel My stay at this hotel was one of the worst I’ve experienced. We arrived at 2 pm, an hour after their stated check-in time of 1 pm, but still didn’t get our room until 4 pm. To make matters worse, they were still cleaning the room in front of us when we finally got access, which made us feel extremely unwelcome and uncomfortable. The service was abysmal. We had to call multiple times just to get basic necessities like water. The staff seemed disorganized, uninterested in helping, and more focused on squeezing every bit of money out of us rather than delivering even passable service. The hotel itself is poorly constructed, lacking thought or comfort in its layout. The only redeeming factor was the view from the balcony, which was nice, but not nearly enough to make up for everything else. Think twice before booking here – it's simply not worth the hassle.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel in Mussoorie, and it was truly an amazing experience. The food here was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious options that left me looking forward to every meal. The staff were incredibly courteous and always went out of their way to ensure that all my needs were met. The hospitality was top-notch, making the stay feel warm and welcoming. One of the best aspects of the hotel was its proximity to Mall Road, which made it perfect for a leisurely night walk to soak in the beauty of Mussoorie. The location was convenient yet peaceful, offering the best of both worlds. However, it’s worth noting that the access road to the hotel is quite steep, which can be a challenge for those unfamiliar with mountain driving. But the hotel has thoughtfully addressed this concern by providing a driver service to handle your car if needed. Additionally, they offer pick-and-drop services from the main road to the hotel, making the entire process hassle-free. Overall, this hotel combines excellent service, great food, and a convenient location, making it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Mussoorie. Highly recommended!

Pathetic for all possible reasons that you can think can go wrong here at this place.... 1. No professionalism in hotel staff (they laugh looking at each other and present you a helpless smile as if they don't care about the customer). 2. The rooms are dirty, smelling and having seepage. 3. No towels, or water or serviceable intercom available. 4. Dirty linen, no hangers were provided. 5. Check in times are not honored. No rooms were ready and soiled bedsheets and cutleries were lying around in the corridors 2 hours after the scheduled check-in time. 6. Informed prior for changing the faucet which had extremely high faucet pressure which wasn't attended inspite of we being not in the room and the room being available for the entire day for repair. 7. Every small basics like towels, cleaning and room freshners are not given even after repeated intimations, which are supposed to be done as a practice. 8. Our room was the only one occupied on the weekdays, and still nothing was ensured, with the staff whiling their time away. 9. All-in-all, if you guys are reading this and still choose this hotel, all the best. 10. Goibibo (the booking platform) didn't do much to facilitate a refund and all they could manage was send the hotel staff in our rooms during our peacetime when we finally came to our hotel to rest at night, and trouble us with their excuses.
