The Amber - Vermont Estate

The Amber Vermont Estate Mussoorie (TAVE) is a class apart from all the hotels we have been to with friends in the last 30 years. Five Coursemates of over 60 years with our Spouses came over to TAVE on the 11th November 2024 to relive our memories and revive our camaraderie & kinships. TAVE received us with open arms with a welcome drink and while we chatted our baggage was shifted into well appointed rooms. Freshness of the linen, cleanliness of the rooms, branded toiletries, electric blankets in addition to oil & blower heater in this cold weather coupled with natural scenic beauty from our balconies warmed the cockles of our hearts. The Chefs distinguished themselves with a fare which delighted us endlessly. Above all the most courteous staff, always a step ahead to fulfill our minutest requirements with genuine smiles, made our stay most comfortable. Thank you TAVE for giving us delightful experiences every time we come to Mussoorie that we can't ever think of staying anywhere else.

I went on a holiday from 7 July to 10 July to AV (Amber Vermont ) to catch up with some of my dearest army friends known to me since 60 odd years. We had planned it that way. |I will relate the great impression AV created in my mind from inception. |1. Location - The hotel is in a very good location , very easily accessible to the markets and other interesting places of a typical hill station. |2. The very first view at the entrance , of the beautiful marble statues , reminds you of history and artworks. Thereafter on entering inside , you are captivated by the beautiful ethereal view of the hills and mountains around. You get very spiritual in such atmosphere . |3. The hotel staff , from the time you get out of your car to the time you leave , pay very personalised and polite attention to very minute details to make you feel at home. |4. The rooms are very clean , beds very cozy , view from the balcony overlooking the hills make one so happy . |5. I am an Epicurean and love to eat , live to eat rather. The chefs cooked each and every dish , be it North Indian , South Indian , Chinese , Thai or Continental - very authentic and tasty. ||What more can I say. May God bless the Management and the Staff for their sincere and honest dedication to making guests happy and comfy.

Awesome place to be with family. We enjoyed our time singing, dancing, eating and playing dumb charades. Loved the hospitality of the team here. The food was yummy and a great spread. The property is well maintained. Must visit place with family and friends.

We had gone to Amber Vermont estate Mussoorie during the rains and had the most amazing experience The place is quaint n idyllic with a history of 150 years and the most modern facilities. The panoramic view of the mountains is humbling |our stay was most comfortable. REALLY AN OASIS IN MOUNTAINS | |I came to be with friends once again at this oasis in Mountains . Four days of fun at this excellent estate maintained to perfection . Rooms are spacious and well kept . View from my Room No 203 was out of world specially during monsoon season. Their deck is just amazing and you want to spend as much time as possible on beautiful Deck offering out of world views of mountains . Complete staff from General Manager , Service Staff , House Keeping rather every was on toes to make your stay comfortable and memorable . Chef is good to produce great food . Owned by Army Officer it speaks of perfection every where . Will recommend to friends and shall come again .

We spent four wonderful days at the Amber Vermont Estate last week and really enjoyed the resort despite it being in the middle of the monsoons.|Since our last visit there, the rooms have been redone and the interiors look so beautiful with matching upholstery and bedcovers.|Even the exteriors have been tastefully upgraded with subtle lighting which gives a very appealing look in the evenings.|The food was as usual totally mouthwatering. The staff are so pleasant and helpful catering to all our whims and fancies.|We made full use of the sun deck and had a memorable holiday.|Thanks Amber Vermont.

I recently booked this property in mussoorie and will list down the pros and cons. Pros: 1) Property offers an amazing view of lush green mountains which you can enjoy from your room's balcony as well. 2) Rooms are very clean and service is very good. Staff is very cooperative. 3) Food is good. Cons: 1) Path to reach the property is very narrow and steep, it may be a problem for many to drive in and out. 2) No direct sunlight comes and it may get little discomforting if you visit here in winters. 3) I think price should be little less.
