This hotel is a gem! The staff are wonderful, everyone makes you welcome. The hotel is very clean and the dining room is beautiful. The food is excellent much better than a recent 5 star. They can make Garhwali dishes amongst others Highly recommend!

Rooms are clean and well maintained. Service is very good. Access to the hotel is very congested and you have to walk about 100 meters since vehicles can not go near the hotel

Shiva Yog Stahl is a sanctuary in bustling Rishikesh. It is on the quieter side of the river, and every aspect--the food, the staff, the owner, the location--is oriented to making one's stay restorative. The rooms were comfortable, the meals fantastic, each staff member warm and helpful. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Shiva Yoga Sthal for 4 weeks in March 2024 and honestly this hotel was one of the reasons we stayed so long in Rishikesh - the staff made us feel so much at home while travelling. It is very clean and quiet, makes you feel super safe. The restaurant on the top floor as well offers a great escape from the madness of Laxman Jhula. Shiv Yoga Sthal is a hidden oasis of peace and quiet in the midst of the Indian reality around. Pradeep at the reception is just amazing, together with absolutely everyone else working there, and the owner Narendra. All the people take such good care of their guests - they even organised a complimentary lunch during Holi for all the guests! Cannot recommend enough this place and express my gratitude for the people working there. The massage center attached to it is also top and should not be missed! If I ever come back to Rishikesh, this is without any doubt where I would stay! Thank you, guys!
