Hotel Ganesha Inn Rishikesh

1. River view executive room was below average. 2. Bathroom was not clean and when asked to clean the seat, staff replied "sir yaha par aisa hi saaf hota" 3. Geyser is not at all functional. Just after a face wash entire hot water is gone. Then again wait for 15 min. So, don't even think of having a hot shower. 4. They give 0.5lt water/person for a day over and above that is chargeable. 5. Breakfast is ok but rest of the food is horrible. 6. What they don't tell you is that, river view is there but also incomplete structure and a tree are there which somehow takes away the view. 7. It is near to laxman jhula (700mt downhill) but laxman jhula is closed so location advantage makes no sense. 8. Better to avoid this hotel all in all. 9. Stayed for 2 days because limited options are there with parking. 10. Also, there below response is another great example of customer treatment.

Go for it .... awesome view from balcony and room ...sound of ganga maa mesmerizing..... don't take any food from hotel.. food was not tasty nor healthy go outside for food ..

Hotel Ganesha Inn has a very good location in Tapovan area of Rishikesh. It is easily accessible and you can get autos/ e-rickshaws from walking distance. We took Ganga River view room which was very spacious, maintained well and had a fantastic view of Ganga river and Ram Jhula. It is a small and cosy hotel with quick service. Food at the hotel restaurant is very tasty. They have a breakfast buffet on Sunday as it is usually completely booked. Rest of the days it is ala-carte breakfast. Prakash at the restaurant was very helpful. There are lot of eating places and shops nearby. ||Rahul, the hotel manager, is very helpful. He assisted in arranging cab pick-up from Delhi and also a drop to Mussorie. The only downside of the hotel is that it does not have a lift and the stairs are slightly steep. So, not very convenient for senior citizens. |Overall, a good place to stay owing to location, service and food.

This hotel is by far the best I've stayed in in India at a budget price. Great staff. Indeed, people with shining eyes work. the waiter seems to read minds and care about the mood with all his heart. and what a view from the window. At night, the wind from the river blows through the open window. and in the morning watch the sunrise in the mountains and over the Ganges. But in the morning you need to close the window, otherwise the monkey will climb in to steal the sugar) everything works. purely. good location overlooking the Ganges.

I have been to this hotel twice and the only reason is view from the balcony. And you will not be disappointed. You can go to nearby market and resturants that have some global cuisines in their menu.

Nice small hotel with small room,but they have river view no other property have... Staff very cooperative and helpful Parking available Food was ok Very clean room...but again room size is very small. Had a nice stay

My recent stay at Gangesh hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were fantastic. The hotel's location was convenient, Highly recommend!
