Brackish Kayal Resort

It was an amazing experience at Brackish. The property itself was beautiful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The support staff were extremely helpful and the activities at the property kept us busy and entertained. The pedal boating and kayaking were fun and easy to do. We also loved the food prepared by the chef especially the fresh sea food! The calm and serene settings at Brackish was what we were looking for in our holiday! Special mention to the manager, support staff and the owners for the amazing hospitality.

Very nice place to stay with pleasant atmosphere. As this place is away from city , we can experience a calm and quiet atmosphere. Rooms are very neat and spacious. Friendly staffs.We enjoyed the kayaking and peddle boat in the lake. Food served always also very good and tasty. Price is also affordable. Overall very nice experience.

We had an amazing stay at Brackish Kayal Resort in early January 2025 with our family. We stayed in the Bamboo Cottage and one Premium Villa, and both were fantastic with all the amenities we needed. The food was delicious, and the menu had plenty of options. The staff even set up an outdoor dining experience for us, which we loved. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. A special shoutout to the chettan and guys for the Vanji rides and for helping us with pedal boats and kayaking in the private lake. The changadam ride with our whole family to the mini island they created was such a unique and fun experience! Our aged parents also had a great time. They especially enjoyed early morning walks through the tree-filled compound near the lake. We also got to try using a Chinese fishing net and even caught some fish, which was a completely new and exciting experience for all of us. The resort also has bicycles for all ages, carrom, shuttle, and other activities, so there’s plenty to keep everyone entertained. The pool was another highlight—we ended up spending time there until late at night! Early mornings were the best, though, with the peaceful surroundings and the sound of birds. It was so relaxing. The resort’s location, just 2 km from the beach, makes it a super calm and private spot. The owner, manager, and staff were all so caring and made sure we were comfortable at all times. A couple of suggestions: adding a roof over the pool could make cleaning easier, and a closed dining hall for dinner would be a great addition. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend Brackish Kayal Resort. We had such a memorable stay and can’t wait to visit again!

The best part, though, was the view of Kayal. We spent hours just relaxing by the window, enjoying the serene waters and the beautiful surroundings. To chill out, enjoy some great views, and have a good time with your crew!

Best in Cherai. Never expected such a serene atmosphere when I was visiting the place. The property is surrounded with backwaters and river, also they have multiple water activities like boating, kayaking, fishing and floating dining. Cozy rooms and good food as well. Highly recommended!

We, large family of 17 adults and 2 kids stayed at the Brackyish kayal resort from 30th to 1st jan 2025 . We had booked the whole resort . 2 days were pure bliss. Most memorable holiday with our whole family. The cottages and rooms are tasteful done and very clean.thanks to service staff Sandeep and Vijesh.they were always very prompt and helpful. Highlight of the resort is the pool and kayaking . Very quiet and scenic backwaters with the Chinese fishing nets. Floating decks, hammocks, cycles, all added tk our enjoyment 😉 ♥️ ❤️ 💖 Special mention to Siju Master Chef , food was so tasty , cud have kerala authentic dishes to heart's content , Also was served sadya on banana leaves. Fish curry, fish fry, prawns masala , Putt kadla, unlimited supply of papadums🤗, every dish was authentic and super tasty Also thanks to Gayatri, Jayanti and Soni. Had a get together for a bachelors party in this amazing property. One of the best places in and around Edapally- Cherai area for family/friends get togethers and staycations. The property and rooms are spacious,neat and clean and are very well maintained. The ambience was beautiful with backwaters having kayaking boating and fishing options. The pool overlooking these backwaters is another highlight. The food was also excellent. I would rate it as the best and tastious food i ve tasted recently. All the staff are very courteous polite and service oriented. The property owner is a gracious host ensuring the well being of every group/guest. Overall it was the best staycation/ get together i had in recent times and no guest will be disappointed who visits this place. Highly recommended..
