Overall EXCELLENT! 9/10|How to reach 10/10?||1. Make the walkways flat surfaced so that we can walk, cycle smoothly. There are cycles, e-bikes but could not use them because the tracks were rocky, uneven. |2. Keep the water area close to the dining area spick and span. Now it is full of dirt, plastic bottles, sea weeds collected by the sides. Mosquitoes and dirty smell for now. |3. Get the windows and doors of the doors fitted with the latest meshes so that we can keep them opened and enjoy the serenity, breeze and beauty of the resort from the rooms also. Now if kept opened mosquitoes enjoy us in the room. |4 Keep a soap stand in the bathroom so that we can place our toiletries. |5 Arrange seating spaces so that all guests can enjoy the back water body. Now only studio occupants enjoy that privilege. |🙏😊

A calm and serene property located at the outskirts of the city. The place is good for a family vacation with 3 types of rooms, a swimming pool, restaurant and kids activity centre.|The staffs are warming. The rooms are spacious with wardrobes and fridge. Provided with tea and coffee sachets. The bed is comfortable. |The hotel unit bathroom was more spacious than the room. The swimming pool villa is huge and the view is to the backwaters which is cool. |Overall a great place for a family vacation.|Property - frontside Beach|Backside - Backwaters.

Our 2 days stay at Club Mahindra, Cherai was comfortable. It is a beautiful place to unwind at - very closer to a sea shore and has its own backwaters. The villas are beautifully done and the resort space is very homely and comforting. The food is good too. The rooms were well-kempt and maintained. Room service and staff are quick and meticulous. The resort is well-accessible by private vehicles as well, and commute is easier.

Location wise was good , nice calm atmosphere. We went to a corporate team event on Friday and the resort was able to handle the crowd nicely. Food was great and the hall was sufficient. Felt the property was a bit aged and not that well maintained. The water body inside meant for small boating activities was quite dirty. Pool is small but okay and there is not much space for outdoor play.

Good things first:|Resort nestled in greenery and a beach just outside.|Location is good. Exterior of resort is well maintained. Good lighting in the night and feels good.|Smiling and helpful staff.|Restaurant F&B incharge (forgot his name) works hard and drives things. Always smiling and genuine person.||Bad things:|Food options are limited but you are charged high rates.|Dependent on taxi unions for everything as resort is away from city.|Cottages/villas are not very clean. Also, you cannot enjoy evening tea in the balcony with back water view despite booking a water villa as it is full of mosquitoes and lizards.

Peaceful and calm resort. The food was multi cuisine with options for North Indian food also. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Communication in English and Hindi was quite easy with almost all the staff. With Backwaters on one side and sea on the other, the resort is a great place to relax.

It was a nice experience. The services whether in the dining room, room services or any other services were excellently given to us. Overall a very good and excellent stay. The backwater view is also excellent. Staff was also very helpful. Thank you. ||VM Rao & family

This place is a disappointment personified. We are members, and every single time, we leave disappointed by the way they treat us. They’re only friendly when they want to appear accommodating, but when you actually try to use the services they offer, it's always a hassle. I can't stand this place and its lack of respect. It’s really not worth the trouble. For example, when it comes to changing for swimming, they direct you to a dirty, foul-smelling toilet. When I asked for a better option, a staff member told me to rent a room just to change—despite being members who are only there for the pool. There are people who have standards, and I will certainly not have my three children change in a filthy toilet. I am still very angry about their ignorance and lack of knowledge. The rooms are rundown too, and it’s hard to see how this place maintains any credibility. They aggressively marketed the membership to us, yet treat us like this. It’s frustrating to encounter such incompetence and disrespect, especially when we expect a certain standard of service as members. Please do not respond by saying it takes time to address these issues; your empty promises and public relations talk don’t resolve the problems.
