🌟 Terrible Experience – Do Not Stay Here! I had an extremely disappointing experience at this property. It is poorly maintained, with no sense of cleanliness or service. The room was in terrible condition: Wet and unclean floors Insects running around the room Basic amenities were missing Despite repeatedly complaining to the hotel staff, no action was taken. The lack of service and disregard for guest satisfaction was appalling. To top it off, even after paying a hefty ₹20,000, no refund or resolution was offered. This property is a complete waste of money. Avoid it at all costs! There are far better options out there for the price. Stay away!

Title: Horrible Experience - Completely Unprofessional! My family recently booked a stay at Pop Tavern on Kovalam Beach Road through MakeMyTrip, and the entire experience was an absolute nightmare. We reserved the place two weeks in advance, paying the full amount upfront. This was supposed to be a family vacation with my two young kids and elderly parents, and we were looking forward to it. After booking, we immediately called the property to confirm, and we even spoke with them again two days before our arrival to make sure everything was in order. Despite all these efforts, when we arrived after driving over 600 kilometers, we were shocked to find out that they had cancelled our booking without any prior notification! When we confronted the staff, they casually mentioned that they had informed MakeMyTrip and advised them to issue a refund. However, a refund is simply not enough. The level of unprofessionalism here is astounding. How could they not inform us directly? They left us stranded with young kids and elderly parents, scrambling to find alternative accommodation on the spot. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable and shows a blatant disregard for customers. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. We trusted them with our vacation plans, and they completely let us down. Avoid at all costs if you value your peace of mind and a hassle-free holiday! Such a pathetic and unprofessional attitude..

I had booked the room and was confirmed by the hotel staff, I was supposed to reach hotel at night as I had a train from Varkala to kovalam. I did inform The same to manager and he was ok, later when I called the staff to know the exact location, manager told me that you can book any other hotel room as we have electricity issue in the hotel, they sold the room to someone else, I was stranded and didn't have any room available, I had to book a different hotel room and pay double. Never book this hotel, manager was so rude, he said you can book any hotel there are so many here.

We two families had stayed in the villa on 11th of October, 2024. It was a rainy day and rainwater was leaking from the roof in 3-4 places. The kitchen is dirty. The pool was not usable in the evening as insects were floating all around. The pool was again not usable in the morning as they had sprayed bleaching powder (which is usually done in the night). Additionally, caretaker is not responsive.

I recently stayed at Pop Tavern Pool Villa in Kovalam, and it was an absolute delight! The villa was beautifully designed, with a stunning private pool and outdoor seating area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities.❤️

It was very bad experience in this villa we were check in late night with my family.we are 9 members and the bed room are only 2 and facing many problems like mosquito bites,ants and other small insects are on the floor. I couldn't sleep the whole night . I had 12 days trip and this villa has spoiled my trip and my family members. I will stay here for 2 days but next day I check it out from the villa and shifted me and my family to other hotel.very bad service, swimming pool was also in very bad condition. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Completely waste of money!!!!!!! I booked this villa for 2 days 5-7 nov 2024 through MakeMyTrip. in the MakeMyTrip they shared details with 3 single bad ,2 queen bad, 1 double bad but at property 2 single bad and 1 queen bad is missing. Caretaker is not responsible at all. He says talk with MakeMyTrip. they have not any extra blankets available. There are many insects in the property. Bad smell in the whole kitchen 😞. Don't waste your money.
