The Cliff Resort-Munnar

We recently stayed at The Cliff Resort in Munnar, and we must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding, and every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations. The room was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and meticulously clean. The resort offers the most breathtaking views in the city, as it is situated at the highest point, providing a tranquil and peaceful ambiance. The surrounding jungle environment added an extra layer of serenity, allowing for a truly immersive stay. The resort's commitment to cleanliness was evident throughout, and every area was well-maintained. The variety and quality of the complimentary breakfast were impressive, offering something for every palate, and the a la carte menu dishes were absolutely delightful. Overall, our stay at The Cliff Resort was a wonderful experience, with impeccable service, stunning views, and delicious food. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic, and luxurious getaway in Munnar. Great work and thanks to Abilash and the entire crew for making our stay so memorable!

Such a wonderful stay for our Munnar portion of our tour. We enjoyed the hospitality, service, facilities, and food! Everything was great! the hallways smell like lemon grass - so soothing. The NYE gala was nicely done. We would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

I am very thankful to cliff staff for making my trip enjoyable. This hotel is truely a paradise for those who wish to get away from hustle of the city crowd it is at small distance from Munnar city centre but staff makes every effort possible to make your stay comfortable you can wake up with the fresh. All over it was a memorable Experience to me thank you so much to team cliff.

The cliff resort is very beautiful, neat and hospitable. The view from balcony is mind blowing. It is worth staying here. Food is also very good.

A quiet hotel with amazing views! Lovely to just sit on the balcony and watch the clouds come and go. This is the same property as Deshadan Resorts. Very helpful staff, the little restaurant has reasonable prices and nice food and would customize dishes to your preference. The room was okay, bathroom smelled damp and could use some renovation (broken tiles, toilet seat yellow and old etc). Bed not suitable for tall persons. There is nothing else around the hotel, so you have to take a car/taxi or like to go for long hikes to go somewhere else. The road down to main road is very steep, it was nice that the hotel picked us up after going for a walk.

We had a really lovely stay at the Cliff Resort. The room was clean and spacious and the views from the balcony were spectacular. We could spend hours just watching the clouds go by and listening to the birds! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional. We especially recommend the tawa masala, which we had multiple times, as well as the gulab jamun, beef fry, butter chicken, moonghpali aloo chat and spiced masala. The chef was friendly and the manager offered to make any adjustment or special request meals. We did the early morning hike run by the resort - the incredible views were worth the slightly challenging climb and Parras was a great guide. The hotel were happy to organise taxis to where we needed to go (make sure to allow for some time for the taxis to arrive, it’s a steep climb). We loved playing ping pong and chess as the sun went down over the valley, and then making new friends at the fire pit. Overall a fantastic stay - thank you Cliff Resort!

Sureal views from the balcony of The Cliff Resort. Only place in Munnar to get such a view from your room. Mostly mist covered (year-round) but wait for the wind (during the day hours) to clear it off anytime soon for that breathtaking panoramic view on and off...my goodness. Breakfast spread was good. Nice staff. Camp-fire very welcoming. exciting drive up to this highest elevated hotel in Munnar. Would always recommend.

One of the best locations if you want to enjoy the amazin views of munnar. Only drawback is the food is limited and the taste isn't great. Hotel staff and owners are great hosts.
