An Unforgettable Stay in Munnar – Outstanding Service & Magical Gardens! Having traveled to over 70 countries and being based in the NY area, we have high standards for hospitality—and Scenic Hotels Munnar truly delivered a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, every single staff member greeted us with a genuine smile and an unwavering dedication to guest satisfaction. A special shout-out to Chef Sri Hari, whose passion and enthusiasm were evident in every meal; he went out of his way to accommodate our special culinary requests. The true highlight of the property, however, is the breathtaking flora and fauna. You can easily spend hours wandering through the beautifully curated gardens. While we didn't get a chance to meet Mr. Cyriac Augustine, we must compliment him immensely on his design and immaculate upkeep of the grounds—the sheer abundance of birds enjoying the gardens is a true testament to his work! Excursions and logistics were equally top-notch: Mr. Palani was incredibly competent and organized a fantastic private tour of a local tea estate, where we even connected with an amazing photographer for a private photo shoot. Saiju, our driver for airport transfers, was exceptionally patient and gracious with our frequent requests for stops along the way. The Ayurvedic massages on-site were absolutely fantastic and rejuvenating. Note on views: While the resort faces a nice mountain range, the immediate views aren't quite as vast as some other resorts in Munnar—but the stunning internal gardens and stellar hospitality more than make up for it. This was our first trip to Munnar, and thanks to this extraordinary team, it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful stay at Scenic Munnar by Taj, and it truly became one of our most memorable trips. The team went above and beyond to make my birthday week incredibly special, and every day was filled with thoughtful surprises that made us feel so cared for. From the beautiful private candlelight dinner and thoughtful gifts to the stunning room decorations and relaxing spa setup, every detail was planned with so much care. A special mention to Mr. Sanjay and Mr. Om Prakash for ensuring our stay was seamless and memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Sneha and Naveen from housekeeping for their exceptional hospitality. Sneha was always just a call away, incredibly warm, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would also like to thank Chef Sri Hari, who made our dining experience unforgettable. He introduced us to the local cuisine with such passion and ensured every meal over our five-day stay was a delight. The warmth, hospitality, and genuine care shown by every member of the team made this the best birthday week we could have asked for. Scenic Munnar was easily the best hotel of our entire Kerala trip. We stayed here for three nights, and honestly, we still didn't feel like checking out. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by greenery. It is slightly away from the main Munnar town, but that's exactly what makes it so relaxing. The staff deserves a special mention. Every single person we interacted with was warm, polite, and genuinely helpful. Service was consistently excellent throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options, several made-to-order dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. The complimentary evening high tea was another nice touch that we looked forward to every day. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. We also loved spending time at the swimming pool and simply walking around the property during the evenings. If you're looking for a peaceful luxury stay in Munnar, I would happily recommend Scenic Munnar without any hesitation. It was worth every rupee we spent.

Had a wonderful stay at IHCL Scenic, Munnar. Our Superior Room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a stunning balcony with a serene forest view. The weather made the experience even more magical. A special thanks to Rubab at the spa for her warm hospitality and an incredibly relaxing foot massage. The breakfast spread was delicious, and the service by Sangeet and Vidhya was exceptional they were friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. Mr. Joyson from room service was kind, efficient, and ensured all our needs were taken care of. The valet team also deserves appreciation for their prompt, patient, and courteous assistance throughout our stay. The breathtaking valley views, the swimming pool and outstanding hospitality made this a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Munnar. One area that could be improved is the poolside service. We waited nearly 45 minutes for a plate of starters, which felt quite long considering the hotel's otherwise excellent hospitality standards. Additionally, there were very few staff members available around the pool area, making it difficult to request assistance or place orders promptly. At breakfast, the waffles were undercooked, and some items were not served hot despite being kept on the warming station. While these were minor issues in an otherwise wonderful stay, addressing them would further enhance the guest experience.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Scenic Munnar – IHCL SeleQtions. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. However, I felt that not all of the staff were equally welcoming or helpful. Some were very kind and professional, while others didn’t seem as cooperative. One thing that could definitely be improved is the activities. I’ve stayed at other resorts that offer a variety of activities throughout the day, but here there was only one activity for the entire day, which felt quite limited. The breakfast was good, but the selection was not very extensive, and I expected more variety from a 5-star resort. Overall, it’s a lovely property with a relaxing atmosphere, but there are a few areas where the guest experience could be improved.
