NillWe availed Non AC room, as it was the only available room at that time. Price was ₹2098 for one night stay, which is a little higher, but we had not much options due to our last minute plan for the trip. The staff himself admitted that, as due to holidays in Tamil Nadu, tourists inflow was more than the usual. The resort does not look like a conventional one. Reception was very small. During our entire 24 hours stay, we saw only one staff at the reception, Mr. Arif who happens to be polite. Room was quite spacious and cleaned just before we arrived. Bathroom was clean too. Toiletries were given for one person only. There was a wardrobe in room, which smelled a little dusty and cigerette ash. So we did not use that. Though the room was clean, we saw one or two big black ants at night when we returned from sightseeing. The pillow covers were also a little smelly. There were some stains visible in the bed cover. It seems the resort was not used for a few days before that and suddenly cleaned for the holidays season. The worst part of our stay was power cut at midnight. There was no generator back up for almost around 20 to 30 minutes. We didn't know whether generator was turned on or power supply was back normally. Our stay was not bad actually, as we had spent much of our time outside the resort. The best part of our stay was the location close to beaches, cliff and the restaurants. If the owners give some extra attention to maintenance, it will be much better.

NillParadise Inn Beach Resort is a really nice place if you’re looking to slow down and enjoy some peaceful beach time. The beach is just a short walk away, so you can easily step out and enjoy the sea breeze whenever you want. The location feels calm and relaxed, perfect for switching off from daily routine. At the same time, it’s easy to reach and you’ll find restaurants, small shops, and food options nearby, so you won’t feel stuck or isolated. The stay is comfortable, and the overall vibe is simple, natural, and refreshing. It’s a good choice for families, couples, or solo travelers who want a quiet beachside experience without too much crowd or noise.

NillArif at reception was very helpful and accomodating. Great guy! Also the hotel is at a very convenient location. Both the cliff market and black sand beach are easily accessible. The room does not have a TV but you probably do not need it in varkala as there is so much to do. I had no problem with it.

NillArif, the host at the reception, was extremely hospitable and friendly. We arrived well before the check-in time, and he kindly helped us store our luggage while we went out sightseeing. Even after check-out at 11 AM, since our bus was only at 8 PM, he was accommodating enough to securely keep our bags at the reception — which we really appreciated. We stayed here the day after Christmas. For the price we paid, the room felt below average. There were ants crawling in the room. While the bed, bedsheets, and blanket looked clean, the bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was a huge turn-off. Being on the ground floor also meant that we could hear people talking outside at night, which disturbed our sleep. On the positive side, the location is great — the North Cliff walkway is just about a 2-minute walk away.
