My stay at the resort was truly memorable. The property is beautifully maintained with a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal getaway from busy city life. The rooms were spacious, neat, and well-equipped with all essentials. The staff were extremely courteous and always ready to help with a smile. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. I had an amazing stay at S Cliff Black Beach Resort! From the moment we checked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We stayed in a sea-view room, and waking up to the stunning view of the Arabian Sea every morning was the highlight of our trip. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the balcony view made every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The location is excellent—peaceful, yet close enough to explore Varkala Cliff, the beach, and nearby cafés. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Varkala. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. I would definitely recommend S Cliff Black Beach Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful stay with breathtaking sea views. I had a wonderful stay at S Cliff Beach. The biggest highlight is definitely the location—being right at the edge of North Cliff, the room offers a stunning panoramic view of the sea. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the breathtaking ocean scenery from the room was truly memorable. The property is also perfectly situated in the heart of North Cliff. From here, you can easily walk to most of the popular cafés, restaurants, and beaches within 5–10 minutes, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The only area where there is room for improvement is the service. Since the rooms are so close to the sea, they can feel a bit damp at times. It would be helpful if fresh towels were provided more regularly, along with floor towels or mats to wipe your feet and keep the room dry and comfortable. Overall, the incredible sea views and unbeatable location more than make up for these minor shortcomings. I would definitely recommend S Cliff Beach to anyone looking to stay in the heart of North Cliff with easy access to everything and a spectacular ocean view.

We had booked 3 rooms at this resort — 2 Premium Sea View rooms and 1 Superior room through Agoda 13–14 days in advance. I received the booking confirmation on the same day and paid the full amount shown on Agoda’s website, which was around ₹30,000. We drove overnight from Bangalore to Varkala and reached the resort on time, expecting a smooth check-in. However, upon arrival, the receptionist told us that our booking was for 2 Superior rooms and 1 Premium room, which was completely incorrect. What was even more disappointing was that the resort was giving away the Premium Sea View rooms (which we had already booked) to guests who booked directly at the property by charging them extra. This felt extremely dishonest and unfair. We argued with the staff for nearly 3 hours. They were not ready to provide a refund or a proper resolution. Thankfully, Agoda customer care answered our call, and only then did the resort manager admit that this issue happened because of their “software problem.” The experience after that was no better. The breakfast was poor, the rooms were disappointing, and the staff behavior was terrible. Most importantly, we never got the Premium Sea View rooms we had specifically paid for. In fact, they informed us that the resort has only 2 Premium Sea View rooms, which makes the whole booking situation even more questionable. If you want to enjoy your trip peacefully, I strongly recommend avoiding this resort. This was one of the most frustrating and disappointing travel experiences we’ve had.

Breathtaking Sea Views and a Perfect Cliffside Stay! If you are looking for the ultimate cliff experience in Varkala, S'Cliff Beach Resort is a fantastic choice. The location right by Black Beach is absolutely incredible. Why I highly recommend it: • The View is Unmatched: Waking up and looking directly out at the endless Arabian Sea from the premium balcony rooms is worth every penny. The sunsets here are pure magic. • Excellent Amenities: Having direct beach access paired with a clean, well-maintained outdoor swimming pool makes it feel like a true tropical getaway. • Convenience: You are just steps away from the vibrant North Cliff walking path, filled with amazing cafes and shops, yet the property remains a peaceful escape. • Friendly Staff: The caretakers were very accommodating, helped us with our luggage, and quickly guided us on the best local spots to visit around town. Tip: Definitely splurge a little extra for the Premium Sea-Facing rooms. The standard rooms don't do justice to how beautiful this location actually is!
