Nebo hotel

We stayed at Nebo Hotel for 2 nights. We had booked a first-floor sea-view room. When we arrived, they gave us the E2 room, which has a lower ceiling and a big roof just below the balcony. We asked them to change the room, and they did. The sea view from the room is amazing, and that’s the best part of the stay. However, the room was not very clean. The bedsheets, towels and pillow ls without cover were dirty. Since the room faces the sea, the floor gets damp, and there was no carpet to walk on. Even though the hotel charges more than many other hotels in Varkala, they don’t provide breakfast. We also ordered food from outside, and the plates they gave us were old. If you only want a room with a great sea view, you can book this hotel. Otherwise, I would suggest looking for other options. I hope the hotel management improves the cleanliness and basic facilities. If they do, this hotel can become much better.

I stayed at Nebo Hotel, Varkala, and had a very disappointing experience. There was no water supply for nearly 5 hours without any prior intimation to guests. When I asked about it, there was no proper response from the manager, and water was restored only around 8:30 PM, even though my check-in was at 2 PM.||The bathroom was dirty, with unclean buckets and jugs, algae on the floor, and an unclean exhaust fan. The ceiling fan and furniture were dusty, showing a clear lack of maintenance. The bedsheet and pillow covers were stained and hadn’t been changed — I had to request the room boy to replace them.||The only good thing about this place is the sea view from the hotel, which is beautiful. But overall, the hotel is poorly maintained and unhygienic, and the staff response is unprofessional. Would not recommend staying here unless they improve cleanliness and basic guest services.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the AC worked perfectly, and it kept the room nice and cool. The view from the room was also beautiful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom was a little small, but it was clean and well maintained. The location is great — it’s walkable to Sarwa Cafe and the beach, which was very convenient for us. What really stood out was the hospitality. The reception team and staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the service was always on time. In one situation, they even helped us by getting a sanitary pad when we needed it urgently, which we really appreciated. Even after checkout, they kindly allowed us to use the washroom to take a shower. They also arranged autos for us, including late at night, which made traveling very easy. As a group of girls, we felt very safe staying here. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to others.

This was such an amazing stay. The hotel is on the south cliff, overlooking the amazing sea view. Especially if you take the first floor view, it is just amazing. The hotel doesn't provide meals, however Swiggy and zomato works well here. And this place is adjacent to cafe sarwaa as well. We did not find any cleanliness issue. We kept food in our rooms, and so some ants were there. But that's common in such hot regions. Whenever we asked the team to clean the rooms, they were super quick to get it done. Washrooms are clean and neat as well. It is an amazing place to stay because of the view, walkable distance from good food options and walkable distance to the shore. You can easily walk down the cliff to the beach. The team here is also helpful and friendly. They have been just a call away for any help we needed. Overall an absolute amazing stay. Worth every penny. Nebo hotel will be our go to option whenever we plan Varkala.
