Discover Resort Khandala

Our stay at Discover Resorts Khandala was a tale of two very different experiences. The food, without a doubt, was the absolute highlight of our trip. From the breakfast buffet to our dinner at the poolside restaurant, every dish was outstanding. The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. It's clear that the culinary team takes immense pride in their work, and their talent is worth celebrating.||However, the outstanding food was unfortunately overshadowed by one staff's demeanor. But our interaction with the front desk and restaurant were quite quick and helpful. The Manager, Mr Harshit Saxena was really helpful guy and assured us safety, security and strict action against that one staff member. He is a very cooperative and responsible human.||Ultimately, we were left with mixed feelings. We would eagerly return for the food alone and obviously the nice, clean and cozy rooms. Overall it was a lovely stay at Discover Resorts Khandala, especially poolside dining.

Very nice location for stay with family, kids and friends. They offer very good range of food items in lunch, dinner, breakfast and even hi-tea. Quality is also very nice. They recommended us the 6 people suite room and it was very convenient stay for us. They have various entertainment activities during the weekend such as group games, DJ night, Magic show, mimicry etc. We just faced minor issue of water for couple of hours but apart from it stay was good. They arranged another temporary room for us due to this issue. One more advice, please keep the bedsheets and blankets absolutely clean. Thank you for the overall pleasant stay.

We recently organized a group booking at Harbale Life for 175 guests, and the entire experience was truly memorable. From the moment we made the reservation, the hotel team was extremely professional, supportive, and attentive to all our requirements. The check-in process was smooth and well-coordinated, which made it very easy for our large group to settle in without any hassle. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay for everyone. Special appreciation goes to the front office team and banquet @ restaurant staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our group dining needs. The food was excellent, with a wide variety of options that satisfied all age groups. We also appreciate the hotel’s attention to detail in arranging event hall / for our group. Everything was well-organized and handled with great professionalism. Overall, our group had a wonderful and stress-free experience at [Discover resort team]. We highly recommend this property for anyone planning group travel, corporate events, or family gatherings. However, when compared to a place like Discover Karjat, which offers a broader range of engaging activities, this location falls a bit short in terms of entertainment options. Overall, the experience is enjoyable and well-suited for a relaxing family outing, but there’s definite potential for enhancement to make it a more dynamic and memorable destination.

Ur entertainment was also excellent *One suggestion I want to give that* Restaurants should prioritize reducing food waste due to its significant environmental and economic impacts. Strategies include accurate portioning, encouraging leftovers, donating surplus food, and improving inventory management. Reducing food waste is crucial for sustainability and profitability.

‘DISCOVERED’ Terrible Experience – Stay Away! I don’t usually write bad reviews, but our stay at Discover Resort, Khandala was so disappointing, I had to warn others. From the moment we entered the room, there was a strong, unpleasant smell that wouldn’t go away no matter how much we aired it out. The bedsheets and towels looked stained and felt unwashed — definitely not hotel standard. The worst part? The room was crawling with cockroaches. We saw them near the bed, in the bathroom, and even inside the cupboard. It was absolutely disgusting and made sleeping there feel unsafe and unhygienic. Also, no televisions in any room and cloudy pool water! Clearly, cleanliness and guest comfort are not a priority here. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and your sanity — book elsewhere! Only pro is that food is decent and staff is kinda sweet but rest a waste of time and money!

Staff is helpful and cooperative. Food was good. Not too spicy nor too bland. Although spread was limited. Facilities were good like games room (TT, Carrom and pool table), swimming pool etc. They have arranged lot of activities like Magic show, Karaoke with DJ Ramona, Dance night with Jr Govinda, DJ night etc. All activities were good and we enjoyed thoroughly. Only problem was the rooms. Rooms were in bad condition may be due to old age or upkeep. Some issues I faced in the room are 1. Very small size 2. Windows without grills and window panes with broken locks 3. AC (It was a window ac and not split AC) not working 4. Bed linen not up to the mark. 5. Toilet Flush was not working. It was fixed after we complained 6. No electric point for kettle or mobile charging near bed 7. No night lamp Compared to the rates we paid it was a poor experience.

The experience was great. Food, ambience, staff specially Vikaas, Anand and others were very good. I cant say how comfortable they made our stay. Will definitely come bac soon. Thanks a lot for having us.
