The Olive Tree Resort

This is one of the worst hotels anyone can stay at. The staff and the manager are very rude and absolutely unbothered by whatever service is given to the customers. We have paid 6k for 3 people for 1 night, and it was not worth it at all, complete waste. In our room, the toilet seat and cover were broken. There was NO hot water at all to have a bath with, morning and evening. At 7.45 am there was no staff in the building to give us a bottle of water. The approach to the hotel is in horrible condition, and you can’t even make out where the hotel is from the main road. The parking situation is very congested and complicated, a lot of people were not able to take their cars out of parking. There was no number given for calling the reception from our room. Usually it’s supposed to be 1, 9, or some number like this. We find out later that the number is 200. It wasn’t told to us or even written anywhere. We were trying to reach the reception for so long and then finally gave up. There is no lift either, only staircase. And they take very long to just get our luggage from the car to the room. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. And I request people to think twice before booking a room here.

Overall very bad experience in my life. We have taken total 3 rooms. No fan regulators working, AC is in very bad conditions, Breakfast is not upto the mark. Swimming pool condition is very bad. Very bad smell in that area. While booking they mentioned heel view rooms. But heels are far away from the resort. Basically it's not resort but it's Dharmashala feelings. Road from NH4 to resort is also not proper. Light cut off in midnight for 1 hour. Also in the morning. In breakfast they served sprite but it's only simple water taste, we checked manufacturing date , it was 19/10/2021. We asked for towel in the morning for bath.. receptionist told us we are providing towel after room service . Cleaning. No shampoo, bath soap in the room , no nepkin given . All we have to asked and then they provide. Overall our this tours are very memorable in the terms of bad experience. Our money totally wasted.. It's a total 3rd catagory resorts and very bad then Dharmashala.

We the group of 18 trekkers stayed at The Olive Tree Resort, Karla Phata, Old Mumbai - Pune Highway, Lonavala for three nights. We found this beautiful resort very cozy, comfortable and well connected. Rooms were neat & clean, washroom has all comfort and luxury, 24 hours hot water, neat & clean towels, bed sheet and TV with all chennels. The resort GM Mr. Yogesh Suryawanshi is an amazing person, very calm, always smiling, cooperative, helpful and fully devoted to attend all the guest as if his personal guests. He is an asset to the management. Food was like we are eating at home, very delicious, well presented, best in quality and Mr. Yogesh took extra efforts to serve hot lunch for consecutive two days outside resort at our locations on two vehicle which proves his sincerity and audacity to serve us the best. Steward Mr. Kamal, House Keeping Supervisor Mr. Sachin Biswas, Chef and other staff were very good. They all did their best efforts to attend us well. Would love to visit again & again. A very nice and clean place, very delicious food, courteous n trustworthy staff above all My Yogesh Suryavanshi has personally taken care of us. A very homely atmosphere. We wish them all the best. God bless

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, hill view & great staff. Most friendly and helpful staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service.|Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay.|I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

With friendly manager and homely service we enjoyed our short stay at Olive green resort. Though the approach road looks a bit unused and the hotel signboard not visible from the main road we were initially suspicious about it .The manager Mr Suryawanshi explained that the hotel hoarding on the main road had been uprooted by the recent cyclone in that area.

We have booked this for long weekend and we today received intimation that they cannot serve us and asked to cancel our booking. So absolutely non trustworthy and non reliable hotel. Very worst service even before visiting

This is a great place to plan a staycation in Lonavala. I recently stayed here and had an outstanding experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. Yogesh. There was a miscommunication in the check-in timings so we had to wait for 2 hours to get the room. Once inside, our deluxe room was spotless, spacious with a beautiful pool and hill view, and it was equipped with all the basic amenities. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, lovely for a refreshing dip. It was nice to see families play in the pool. There’s a small machan which is perfect for evening tea and gives a good view of the greenery around the property. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The dinner buffet was served a little too late (past 10.15 PM) but the rest of the food was on time and with a wide variety of options. There’s a lot to see around the hotel, including Karla Caves and Ekvira Devi temple. Just next to the hotel is Shri Durga Parameshwari Temple – a beautiful temple suggested to us by Mr. Yogesh. Overall, the property is excellent value for money. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
