Kaachwala Heritage Resort (Veg And Non Veg)

Our stay at Kaanchwala Heritage Resort was nothing short of a nightmare. Here’s an exhaustive list of the numerous issues we encountered: 1. Maintenance Issues: The door’s latch was broken, compromising our privacy and security. 2. Hygiene Problems: The entire place was filthy with dirt everywhere, including on the bed sheets, pillows, and blankets. There was even fungus under one of the pillows, which was absolutely appalling. We had to use the sheets which we carried. 3. Lack of Basic Amenities: During power cuts, there were no emergency lights or candles provided, leaving us in complete darkness. 4. Poor Infrastructure: Tiles were broken on the staircase, posing safety hazards. 5. Pest Infestation: The duplex was infested with bugs everywhere, making our stay extremely uncomfortable. 6. Unhygienic Conditions: We found playing cards scattered around covered in dirt, indicating it has been for sometime now. 7. Unsafe Bathroom: The washroom floor near the shower was covered in some kind of slippery material, possibly algae, making it hazardous. 8. Inadequate Mosquito Control: Despite requesting mosquito repellents, we were given only one incense stick for the entire duplex, which was ineffective. The only positive aspect of our stay was the polite demeanor of the caretaker. However, this was overshadowed by the myriad of hygiene and maintenance issues that rendered our experience utterly unpleasant. In conclusion, based on our experience, I strongly advise against staying at Kaanchwala Heritage Resort until significant improvements are made in cleanliness, maintenance, and provision of basic amenities.

One of the Best stay in Matheran for Quad sharing. We stayed here for 2 nights & had lot of fun at affordable price (including all the meals). Beds and cushions were so comfortable. Clean & hygienic washrooms. Hot water shower was available. Bornfire with speaker was available to us by them. The only thing is that for swimming pool, Games & for meals, you have to walk a bit till there main property which is springwood Hotel, this Kaachwala Heritage, is bit far from their main property.

We were a group of 7 people staying in the duplex room of kaachwala resort. The room was good but the pillows had fungus over it. The extra mattress given had a weird smell with fungus. Food provided was good and tasty but the facility of food was 500 metres away in their another resort, springwood resort but this was not pre informed to us while booking. At night it was difficult for us to walk till there when everybody was enjoying and having drinks. Also the number provided at the Google site is of an agent and not of the resort. This should not be done as he didn't inform us about the food arrangements. Rest the caretaker, Mr. Suresh was very helpful and nice. It is just 1.1km away from Aman lodge station so you can take a walk till there or for a new experience you can take a horse ride which charged us ₹250 per person.

Room was spacious. However costly. Basic things like towel, shampoo was not provided. No coordination among the staff. Restaurant is not at the Hotel. Since we preferred pure veg they told us to go to their pure veg hotel for food. Food was just ok. Staff was not bothered about the privacy of the customer.

It's a cottage with 6 duplex rooms and a 5-6 normal rooms very clean and neat. It is good for a large group of friends or family as you can have an entire place for yourself. The market is a 5min walk. Will recommended if you are looking for a calm stay with not many people gathering around

It's a cottage with duplex rooms. Washroom n room are clean n neat n well maintained. In room 1 Washroom n 2 beds. Amazing n interesting place for friends & family n yes pets too. Place is quite simple n specious.

Clean and good property. New construction. The restaurant will start soon. There was no food facilities when I visited.
