Tulips valleyview Resort

We booked a room as per the photo they shared. But once visited they told the room is sold out and shows the only left room which is dirty and in the backside of the hotel. The receptionist connected the call with one of the guy who is some next level position, was very rude and arrogant attitude. He don't want us to stay there as well as not admitting there mistakes.. Not at all suggesting. Please they will cheat you and I can easily say u can find a better stay nearby itself. They are just uploading the photos to attract people. But nothing is there.

I booked this hotel for a one-night stay, and it was by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in for a long time. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on their website — they are very misleading. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months, the bedsheets had a bad odor, and the room was moldy and unhygienic. The staff’s behavior was also extremely unprofessional. I arrived at the hotel around 11 PM with a confirmed booking through Agoda, and full payment had already been made. I had even called the hotel personally to confirm the reservation. However, when I arrived, the staff acted as if no rooms were available. After some time, they ended up giving us an apartment room instead. This place feels like a scam — very poor service, terrible cleanliness, and completely unreliable. I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.

The rooms are not what we see on the platforms or google maps. There were no drinking water provided in the room and the TV was not working. The only few good things are the view from the resort and room is great and it is in the outskirts of ooty easily accessible via car or bike.

Our experience at this resort was extremely disappointing. Despite having a confirmed booking online, the staff refused to honor it. To make matters worse, they openly gave the rooms we had reserved to another group who offered to pay extra. This shows complete lack of professionalism and integrity. Guests cannot rely on their word or booking system.

Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I had a disappointing experience at Tulip Valley View Resort, Ooty. I booked through Booking.com, expecting a decent stay, but the room provided was unclean with stained bedsheets and towels. When I requested a room to change, the staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Only after a prolonged argument did they agree to shift us to a different room. This kind of lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, especially in a hospitality business. I rate this 1 out of 10 and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and transparent stay.

We had a very disappointing experience at this resort and would not recommend it to others. Even before our arrival, we had called and confirmed that the check-in time was 11 AM, based on which we planned our journey and reached by 10:45 AM. However, upon arrival, the staff — particularly the lady at the reception — was extremely rude and dismissive, insisting that check-in was only at 12 PM. Despite explaining that someone from their own team had communicated 11 AM earlier, there was no apology or politeness. Instead, she kept pointing at a board and refused to acknowledge the miscommunication. We would have been happy to wait if it had been communicated respectfully, but the way we were spoken to was completely unprofessional. Additionally, we had requested an extra bed while booking, which was promised but never provided during our stay. The rooms were poorly maintained, the bathroom had a constant foul smell, and there were frequent electricity issues, despite the claim of having a generator backup. Overall, this was a frustrating and unpleasant stay. The lack of courtesy, broken promises, and poor hygiene standards made it a regrettable choice. Definitely not worth the price or the trouble.

Decent rooms , slightly overpriced considering the location. It's good if u have your own vehicle. Rooms were spacious. They serve proper home cooked meals . The food was delicious. Service is a Lil slow as they hardly have staff . Hot water for bathing is available. They do not provide bottled water other than 5ltrs . Great scenic view throughout the day . Ample parking space .No wifi available inside the room . Only issue we faced was with frequent power cuts. We enjoyed our stay .

Terrible experience at this resort. The rooms had a constant moist and toilet smell, stained bed sheets, and overall unhygienic conditions. On top of that, the staff were extremely rude and even tried to demand extra charges by threatening us. Completely unacceptable behavior and atmosphere, I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid this place.
