Hotel Lakeview

I am extremely disappointed with my stay here. We had specifically booked a Villa room with a lake view by paying the highest price among all options, but the room we were given was nowhere close to what was promised. It looked more like a basic room rather than a premium Villa. Our check-in was delayed until around 10:30 PM, and to make things worse, the restaurant was already closed. Despite several requests, we were only given plates to manage our food — no proper service was provided. For a property that charges premium rates, this is unacceptable. On top of that, their rigid policy makes the experience worse. The check-in is at 2 PM, but the checkout is strictly 11 AM. Even a few extra minutes are charged, which shows absolutely no consideration for guests. Basic facilities like packaged drinking water were also unavailable late at night. We couldn’t even get a bottle of mineral water unless we took their own brand, which is highly inconvenient. Overall, the service, facilities, and value for money are very poor. If you can’t provide what is promised online, then online bookings should not be encouraged. I would not recommend this place to anyone expecting good service or a hassle-free stay.

(Deluxe & Suite) Rooms are average, old buildings. Have good view but not great. Compare to the rooms, interior and views the current price is too much, only 2000 - 2500 worth. Not a premium or resort vibe. Customer Service is good, polite, friendly and clear. Also parking space is good, enough for all rooms.

This place location is definitely good! You can take a nice walk in this place! But was really not happy with the service! We had booked one room for 3 people! Bed is too small for 3… but they had a sofa in the hall…!!! Which was definitely not comfortable and they just provided few blankets to put on top of it! Felt really hard to sleep! Not comfortable at all! Also the wardrobes were not that clean to keep our stuff! Ended up keeping our clothes in our bags itself! Heater is chargeable! So if 3 people are planning to stay in one room definitely not an option!

It's a very good and pleasant experience staying in the hotel. Room is very spacious, villa type, with fire place inside. Atmosphere is very cool , clean, fresh. Has a small kids park, play area inside. Good for walking, gaining elevation. It has a small shop inside which is having all basic items. Room and restaurant service is very good. All Foods are very tasty. I tried lachha paratha, idly sambar, nilgiri korma, pongal vada, dosa. Mr.David and all staffs at restaurant services are good. Overall it's good place to stay, eat, relax with family. To hotel management: it would be better to have a ventilation fan in bathroom.

The hotel has a nice ambience and a big property, but several things were disappointing. The bed in the room was very small, and for an extra bed they only provided a divan sofa, which wasn’t comfortable. Considering the high room tariff, complementary breakfast should have been included, but it wasn’t. The in-house restaurant is quite costly, and for proper food options one has to travel 3–5 km from the hotel. Room service was just average, and drinking water was provided only on request. Another major issue was that hot water supply was not proper, which is very inconvenient in cold weather. On top of that, there were 2–3 power cuts during our stay, which made the experience uncomfortable. Overall, the property is nice, but the services, facilities, and value for money definitely need improvement.

|The rooms were spacious and comfortable for three adults, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. A particularly kind lady staff member assisted us and offered a villa near the reception on the ground floor, which was very helpful as we had a senior citizen with us. We extend our special thanks to the entire Front Office team for taking such excellent care of us during our two-day stay. 💯|We are especially grateful to Vijay for his assistance in obtaining the e-pass. 🤝😊|Thank you. 🙏

It was a very good experience in terms of all the aspects; rooms, food, service, location, and staff. I must say it's very rare to have perfection in one place. This property is old but very well maintained. We have taken Villa, which is very spacious. The best part of the villa is the fireplace. Since this hotel is in opened area, the cold is going to be there at night. Getting the fire in a fireplace is very helpful. In-room service is very quick, which is very surprising to me. I will be booking this place again if I come to Ooty.

The rooms we got were good and came with a view. The room service is good and in-house restaurant also serves tasty food. I got a room which was newly renovated and was good, not sure about others. I was sceptical to book this due to some reviews I read - but it was a good stay. You can go ahead with this without doubt
