We stayed at Coastal grand resort in Ooty it was perfect for our romantic getaway. The staff was attentive, and the amenities were top-notch. We loved the private balcony with a stunning view. The gardens and decor all added to the romantic atmosphere. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We got a family suite in an affordable price. The room service was top notch. The location is absolutely worth the hype as it is nearest from every tourist spots. The view from the hotel is too good. The receptionist and the hotel servicing people have been very warm welcoming. I loved the experience here.

The hotel is very far from the main city and the road leading to it is very bad and has lots of potholes in it. The suite has only one bathroom with two rooms, the rooms are old and not very well maintained. The sheets used were smelly and didn't look neat either. The breakfast isn't very great and the service is very slow. The dinner prices are very high and the quality and service for the high cost is very poor. We didn't enjoy and were highly disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel is quite far from the main market and city area thus one doesn't have much accessibility in that location.

We had booked four cottages in this resort and stayed for one night. Although the resort is located in a very scenic setting, it is very poorly maintained and in a deplorable condition. A few rooms above the reception appear to be in decent shape, but the other cottages are not worth staying in. The doors and frames are worn out and shabby, with no proper locking system. Frequent power cuts are the norm at this property. A window shutter in our cottage would not close properly, allowing splashing rain to enter the room. We had a tough time constantly cleaning and drying the wet floor, especially since it was raining intermittently. The main door frame lacks a bottom batten, which could allow small creatures to creep inside. Moreover, the windows are not fitted with safety grills, which may compromise the safety of the guests. The paver blocks connecting the various cottages are in poor condition, making walking on them difficult. This place has the potential to become a good resort if proper renovation and timely maintenance are undertaken. Until then, it is not a suitable place to stay.

I never leave negative reviews, but this resort was an absolute disaster from the moment we arrived. If you’re considering staying here—don’t. Save yourself the frustration, discomfort, and disappointment. Hygiene: This place was downright filthy. The rooms smelled of damp mold and the bathrooms were a health hazard—stained toilets. Amenities: What amenities? There was no Wi-Fi or even basic room service. There wasn’t even a room heater or let alone air conditioning to maintain room temperature to protect from . TV available but no satellite box for watching content. Maintenance: The entire property is in shambles. Peeling paint, broken window glass and covered it with a cloth at my request. It felt abandoned rather than operational. It’s clear that management has given up on this place entirely. Final Verdict: This resort should not be in business. It’s unsafe, unsanitary, and completely misrepresented online. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone under any circumstance. One of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had.

Mixed Experience at Coastal Grand Space 4 Resort. I recently spent 2 nights here and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location was stunningly beautiful and peaceful, far from the city's hustle and bustle. The staff were respectful and helpful, making our stay pleasant. The rooms were also spacious, which was a big plus. However, there were some areas that needed improvement. The surroundings were not well-maintained, with garbage scattered around the cottages. Some of the amenities didn't quite meet expectations - the bed sheets were unclean, and there was a water leakage issue in the bathroom. Additionally, Wi-Fi and television services were not provided due to some technical issues. We were also looking forward to a campfire, but unfortunately, it wasn't available. The complimentary breakfast, which was supposed to be served from 8:30 am, ran out of items quickly, and resupply took a long time. Basic items like drinking water, tea, and tea cups were also missing during those hours. Staff were unable to deliver those at expected time. Overall, while the location and staff were highlights, the maintenance and amenities issues detracted from our experience. With some improvements, this resort could truly shine.

The disadvantages of this hotel : 1).The cottage rooms were very bad, all were damp and there was leakage problem in the bathroom. 2).The attendees were not able to understand Hindi at all. 3).Food was uncooked and all the dining facilities were very bad or all the food had finished. 4).There was a power fault in the rooms and we were not able to sleep as the generator was running in the cottage rooms. 5).The rooms were not exactly like the ones shown in the online photos. There is no advantage 🙏

I do not recommend this resort. The cleanliness was far below expectations — the room was not properly cleaned, and there was a persistent bad smell throughout my stay. It made the experience very uncomfortable. For the price I paid, I expected much better hygiene and maintenance. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.
